КВН (тема «Изучение английского языка»)

Цели: активизация лексики по теме «Изучение английского языка»; совершенствование навыков устной речи и аудирования; тренировка грамматических навыков; расширение кругозора и воспитание толерантности.

Оборудование: карточки с заданием для капитанов; жетоны; задание на карточках «Дополни рассказ» для двух команд.

Ход мероприятия

1. Организационный момент

• Good morning, children! (Good morning, Maria Petrovna!)

• I am glad to see you. (We are glad to see you too.)

Today we shall have a competition of two teams. The topic of our competition is “Learning the English Language”. It’s time to find out the names of your teams.

Учитель сообщает учащимся о проведении КВНа по теме Изучение английского языка». Ученики должны заранее разде­литься на две команды, выбрать капитанов и придумать названия командам (домашнее задание для команд). За каждое правильно выполненное задание команды получают определенное коли­чество баллов. Побеждает команда, которая наберет больше бал­лов. В начале мероприятия ведущий представляет членов жюри, которые будут оценивать выполнение командами различных за­даний. Учащиеся, которые не являются членами команд, могут подготовить художественные номера, которые включаются между конкурсами КВНа.)

1. Конкурс «Представление команд»

Команды по очереди выходят на сцену и представляют свое название, девиз и эмблему. Жюри оценивает данный конкурс по пятибалльной системе. Название команды должно быть связано с темой мероприятия.

1. Конкурс «Разминка»

The first task for our teams is to agree or disagree with my statements. If the statement is false, correct it, please. If it is true, repeat it after me. Our teams will do this task one by one.

(Командам предлагается по очереди выразить согласие или несогласие с утверждениями ведущего. Данное задание может быть предъявлено командам в двух вариантах: ведущий зачиты­вает утверждения или команды вытаскивают карточки с утвер­ждениями, разложенными на столе текстом вниз. Если команда не справляется с выполнением задания, то право ответа получают соперники. За каждый правильный вариант команда получает один жетон.)

IV. Конкурс «Вопросы и ответы»

(Для проведения следующего конкурса учитель предлагает командам составить в течение 2—3 минут 4—6 вопросов для сопер­ников по теме «Изучение английского языка». По истечении отве­денного времени команды по очереди зачитывают вопросы и пред­лагают соперникам ответить на них. Учителю необходимо следить, чтобы на вопросы отвечали разные члены команды. За правильный вопрос или ответ команда получает по одному жетону.)

8. Do you prefer to translate texts or poems from English into Russian? (I prefer to translate texts from English into Russian.)

9. Must pupils learn dialogues in English by heart? (I think pupils must learn dialogues in English by heart.)

10. Is it easy to learn new words in isolation? (No, it is not. It’s easy to learn new words in context.)

V. Конкурс капитанов

I want our captains to go to the blackboard. They will get a special task. They’ll have to complete the sentences with the “speaking”verbs.

Во время подготовки участников предыдущего конкурса капитаны двух команд получают карточки с заданием. Время на подготовку капитанов — 5 минут. За правильное выполнение задания капитан каждой команды может получить 4 жетона.)

It’s time to read the story and complete it with the words in bold type. It’s interesting to find out if you know the English grammar well. You’ll have 5 minutes and 12 gaps in the text to complete. Are you ready? Start then.

(Каждая команда получает задание на карточке, на выполне­ние которого отводится 5 минут. Во время выполнения задания учитель может включить спокойную музыку. После выполнения задания команды сдают карточки на проверку жюри. За данное задание команда получает максимально 6 баллов.)
