Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку «East and West-home is best»

8 класс

Цель: Повышение мотивации изучения английского языка; развитие навыков коммуникативного общения в группах; развитие индивидуальных личностных качеств участников игры.

Оборудование:

Компьютер, мультимедийный проектор.

Участники: 2 команды по 4-5 человек, болельщики.

Teacher: Let's cheer our teams! Hello everyone! I am glad to see you again and today we are going to show our best! Оur game is called " East and West-home is best ". I want to introduce our contestants. Here the pupils from the 8a form . The first team is “Super Friends”. The next team is “Funny Flowers”. It’s time for the game and I wish all of you good luck! Let’s start our game.

1.Word building.

Командам дается одно длинное слово – задача детей составить как можно больше новых слов используя буквы из данного слова. При проверки команды по очереди называют полученные слова и вычёркивают. Выигрывает команда, у которой останутся слова, которых не назвали другие команды.

Конкурс на время. Каждой команде дается 10 слов с перепутанными буквами (слова одинаковые) - задача- составить слово, а затем правильно произнести его по буквам и полностью. За каждое правильное слово дается 2 балла, но учащиеся могут воспользоваться подсказкой-рисунком этого слова, соответственно балл снижается.

The third game : Choose English idioms and find Russian equivalents.

Сопоставьте английские идиомы с русскими эквивалентами и подберите к ним картинку. Если команда ответила неверно, дается возможность ответить другой команде, а дальше вопрос переходит болельщикам. (Фразеологизмы и идиомы)

Команды по очереди отгадывают загадки. Если команда не знает ответа или отвечает неправильно, право отвечать переходит к следующей команде. За каждый правильный ответ команда получает одно очко.
