Тема: «Лондон и его достопримечательности».

Цели занятия:

1. Обобщение и систематизация знаний и умений студентов по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».

2. Закрепить лексические навыки и речевые умения: активизировать употребление тематической лексики в устной и письменной речи, способность ставить вопросы и давать ответы на них.

3. Обучающие цели: обобщение и систематизация знаний и умений студентов формировать умение понимать иностранную речь на слух.

Развивающие цели:

1.развивать умение правильно работать с информацией и делать выводы.

2.развивать навыки монологической и диалогической речи;

3.развивать навыки чтению с целью извлечения информации.

4 .развивать навыки аудирования.

5.развивать умение сравнивать, обобщать, анализировать

Воспитательные цели:

1.способствовать расширению кругозора обучающихся;

2.воспитывать интерес к стране изучаемого языка;

Оборудование: компьютер, экран, медиопроектор, фрагмент видео-фильма «London», презентации, иллюстрации с изображением Лондона, раздаточный материал, карта Лондона.

Тип урока: Урок систематизации и обобщения знаний с использованием ИКТ

Структура занятия

I. Организационный момент.

1. Приветствие.

2. Сообщение темы и целей.

The theme of our lesson is “Sights of London”. I’d like to start our lesson

with these words: “Who doesn’t like London, doesn’t like life itself”.

«Кто не любит Лондон, не любит саму жизнь».

London is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

It has a lot of interesting historical and modern places to visit. Today we are

going to visit some interesting places in London. You can see these places, listen to the information about them and do some tasks.

1.Today we’ll speak about London’s places of interest. But it is necessary for me to understand what you know about London. Answer my questions please:

1. What is London?

2. Where is London situated?

3. Is London one of the largest cities of the world?

4. How many parts is London divided into?

5. In the West End there are very many famous museums and theaters, palaces and parks, aren’t there?

6. Is London only a large city?

7. What places of interest are there in London?

Teacher: I’ll give some short descriptions of famous places. Try to guess what it is.

1) It’s a clock in the tower and it’s a big bell. You can hear it every hour.

2) It is a place which has one of the most famous collections of painting in the world.

3) It is a symbol of England. The coronation of all British Kings and Queens took place there.

4) It is a place where the British Government sits.

5) It is the main church in Great Britain.

6) It is the central square of London and it is famous all over the world.
