Date: Lesson 2 2nd form
The Topic: My English Alphabet.
The Aim: - to broaden pupils’ horizons;
to present the second letter Bb and the sound b; some words: ball, bear, box, boots; phrases: How are you today? I’m happy! I am sad! I am hungry!
to develop skills to deal with listening, speaking and writing;
to educate interest in learning English.
The equipment: flesh cards, a computer.
The Process
Warming up:T: Stand up, please. Hello, my friends!
P: Hello, teacher!
T: Take your sits, please.
Main body:
T: Let’s remember some phrases from the last lesson! What does it mean? – “How are you?”
P: Как твои дела?
T: You are right! Repeat after me: “How are you?”
P: How are you? (all together)
T: Answer the question! “I’m fine!”
P: I’m fine! (all together)
T: What does it mean? “So-so.”
P: Когда дела не очень.
T: You are right!
T: Now let’s watch and sing a song “ How are you today?” Sing along!
