Teacher: There are proverbs about learning: Live and Learn. It’s Never Late to Learn. What Russian proverbs correspond to them? (Век - живи, век - учись. Учиться - никогда не поздно.)

Teacher: Now you will read about two systems of education. (One group reads about the UK education, the other – about the USA education).

(A speaker from "American group" reports to the other group the information according to the clusters. While listening to the speaker, "British group" are filling in “a two part table”. In the first column they are writing down what they are listening to, in the second column - vague things. The same does "American group". Then both groups ascertain the vague things, asking each other questions.

(Then in the same groups the students make a conclusion on the following items: similarities and differences, advantages and disadvantages of each system; where they would prefer to study and why).
