Тема урока: «Спорт в нашей жизни»

Ход урока:

1.Организационный момент

Teacher: Good morning, my dear friends! Nice to see you all! Today we have an unusual lesson as we have many guests. And we are going to speak about… About what? I ask you to look at the blackboard. You can see a poster here with the photos of sportsmen of our region. More than that the motto of our lesson is on the blackboard. " A sound mind is in a sound body”

 2. Сообщение темы урока.

 T- How do you think what are we going to talk about?

 P1- P2- Teacher: You are absolutely right, my dear. Our topic is "Sport” which is very important in our life. We should revise the material on the topic and discuss different kind of sports.

3.Фонетическая зарядка

Перед выполнением заданий урока учитель напоминает учащимся о необходимости заполнения технологических карт для самооценки учащихся. Teacher: Let’s start with our phonetic drills. Open your books on page 100 look at exercise3, please. Your task is to pronounce all the words after the speaker properly. Teacher: Well done. T: Tell me please which of these words are used both in English and in Russian? P1: P2 P3: P4: P5: T- You are perfect today, thank you.

4. Речевая зарядка.

T- Answer my questions please. And don’t forget about linking words as it is important during your state exam in English. 1. What are the most popular sports in Great Britain and in Russia? 2. What is your favorite kind of sport? 3. What sports are popular in your family? 4. What do you prefer: to watch sports or to take part in them?

 T: Thank you for your answers. You know there are special places for doing sports. To find it out let’s do ex.5 on page 101.

You have papers with the same tables on your desks in order to write  on them. You should match the sports and the places. And express your thoughts using the constructions which are on the screen. Do you remember it’s Conditional I? I give you a minute to do this task.

Key: swimming –pool, lake, river/sea ice hockey – skating ring athletics – stadium, sports ground, gym roller skating –stadium, street, sports ground figure skating –skating rink cross country running –fields, forest cycling /skiing –fields, street, sports ground, forest riding –fields, forest, sports ground, stadium tennis –court water- skiing –sea, lake, river windsurfing –sea, lake surfing –sea

5. Закрепление новой лексики

Teacher: Thank you, my dear. You’ve worked brilliant that’s why I have a surprise for you. Do you see this box? How do you think what is there? Let’s open it. (учитель открывает коробку). You deal with all these things if you do sports and they are connected with our today’s topic of the lesson. Your task is to take out one of them, name it. Учащиеся достают предметы из коробки и называют их.

6. Развитие навыков поискового чтения с извлечением конкретной информации.

 Teacher: I think it is interesting for you to know more information about different kind of sports so I’ll give you a text and your task is to find some information about the kind of sport in which you may face with a thing that you have chosen. You are to get ready to tell us the main idea of your abstract. I give you 2 minutes to do it. You may take notes.

Учащиеся читают тексты в течении 2 минут и рассказывают их краткое содержание. Teacher: Your time is up. Let’s listen to your summaries. There is a paper with a table on your desk. Have you found it? While listening to one another your task is to insert the table. In the 1 column you are to write down the names of the sports and in the second column you should write an equipment. Students: зачитывают краткое содержание своих тестов, выражая их основную мысль и заполняют таблицу по ходу прослушивания рассказов одноклассников. Teacher: Exchange your papers with your neighbors, please and check up the tables. Give marks to one another. No mistakes is excellent, one-3 mistakes-good, 4-7 mistakes –satisfactory. ( на мультимедийном экране высвечивается таблица.) - Now check them up using the table with right answers on the screen

7.  Монологическая речь по теме Teacher: We’ve heard that all these people are fond of this or that kind of sports. And as far as I know some of you are sportsmen too. Let’s have a talk show. Our sportsmen, go to the blackboard please. All the rest get ready to ask them some questions, please. Let’s start. Dear guests, ladies and gentlemen. We are glad to welcome you on our talk show. We have __3______ sportsmen from Russia who study at school number 33. Let me introduce them. T-And now your questions for our guests, please.

8 Рефлексия Teacher: So, children, our lesson is going to an end, I think that it was a very useful lesson for you and for me. We have understood that it’s very important to go in for sports. But let’s sum up; answer the main question of our lesson: Why do the people go in for sports? One sentence from the group. Students: выражают свое мнение по поводу урока. 1

9. Домашнее задание Teacher: I am very glad Thanks a lot. Now, write down your homework 10. Итоги урока Teacher: I’d like to thank you all for your good work at the lesson. Come to me with your diaries and I give you your marks. The lesson is over. Good bye.
