In order to have a good mood lets make a circle and sing a song «Bright blue the sky». T-We are proud of living in Kazakhstan Are you agree with me? Now lets start our lesson first of all lets divide into groups. 4.Dividing into 2 groups with the name of best places in Kazakhstan as The Charyn Canyon,The Turgen Gorge. | Dvd player, Sheet of paper with names of places | |||||||||||||||||||
Middle 15 min 10min 7 mi | Presentation a new theme showing the video of best places in Kazakhstan . T – You see that we have so many wonderful unusual places in Kazakhstan . Today we will talk and get information about this three place. The Charyn Canyon,The Turgen Gorge,The Singing Hill Introducing new words. Look at the board and repeat after me in chorus. Then individually. Hill, waterfall, desert, The Singing Hill, glaciation, sands. Complete the puzzle. There is a picture of places. Your task is that which group will finish first? Put this words in correct order. T- Now I will give you short texts for each group. For the reading and explaining the meaning of the texts I use Method Jigsaw. Pupils you should work in your groups read and translate the text. Then choose in your group 5 key words you would use speaking about your place. Compare your information with students from other groups.
1st group read about the Charyn Canyon 2nd group read about the Turgen Gorge 3rd group read about the Singing Hill.
