The aims of the lesson:

1. To learn new words on topic «Animals» (a horse, a cow, a bird, a bear, a dog, a cat).

3. To learn new letters “Hh”,” Ii”

4. To learn new numbers from 15-20.

Objectives:

developing– to develop speaking, listening and writing skills.

educational - to learn new words, new grammar structure, new letters and numbers.

Techniques: interactive board, the computer, pictures, cards, the pupil’s book for grade 1 “Primary Colours” by Diana Hicks and Andrew Littlejohn (Cambridge University Press), CD and CD player.

T: I want to start our lesson with phonetic drill. What can you see there?

III. Presentation of new material.

T: Now I distribute you the envelopes with puzzle cards, you should join the picture’s parts and say what are they.

T: So, how do think what’s the topic of our lesson?

P₁ : animals?

T: Yes, you are right, animals! Today we will learn how to name different animals and get acquainted with new letters and numbers.

IV. Work with the new material.

Exercise 1. Listen and learn the new words.

T: Look at the pictures on the interactive board and learn the new words.(Presentation)

T: To control your understanding of the new words, let’s do this exercise. One by one come to the board and match the pictures with the correct meanings.

T: А) Now, let’s play one game which named “Be attentive!”. I’ll show some pictures with different animals and name them. If the names are correct, you should agree with me and say, for example: Yes, it’s a dog. If you don’t agree your answer: No, it’s a bear.
