1. Greetings.
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls. Sit down, please. What’s your name? How are you today? How old are you?
Children: I’m (Alina), I’m (fine), I’m (seven).
2. Our world is colourful.
1) Presentation.
Teacher: Look at the board. What can you see? It’s a Christmas-tree. What colour is it?
Children: green.
Teacher: Let’s decorate the Christmas tree. Let’s make it colourful. Here are our colourful balls.
Come to the board, take one ball, name its colour and decorate the Christmas tree.
Teacher: What colour is our Christmas-tree now?
2) Guessing game.
Teacher: Now let’s play a game. Guessing game. Look at our Christmas-tree. Guess my colour.
Are you ready? Here we go.
Red? Blue? Purple?
Teacher: No. No. Yes, that’s right. Now you play the game in pairs.
3) Reading activity.
Teacher: You can name ten colours. But can you read them? Open your training books. Take out the words and put the words next to the colours.

Teacher: Our world is colourful. There are many countries in the world. And they have different flags. Colourful flags.
Look at this flag. What colour is it? (Blue, white and yellow). This is the flag of Argentina. Can you show me the country?
And these are the children from Argentina.
Look at this flag. What colour is it? (Red and yellow). This is the flag of China. Can you show me the country?
And these are the children from China.
Look at this flag. What colour is it? (Red and white). This is the flag of Poland. Can you show me the country?
And these are the children from Poland.
And now these flags. Our flags. The flag of Ossetia. What colour is it?
Children: Red, white and yellow.
Teacher: And the flag of Russia. What colour is it?
Children: Red, white and blue.
Teacher: We live in Ossetia, in Russia.
Teacher: And what colour is this flag, the flag of Great Britain?
Children: Red, white and blue.

7) Role-playing.
