Middle	Introduction with new theme: My friend’s family Ex:12. Listen and number. Teacher refers the pupils to the pitures of the children and their names. Explais the activity. Plays the CD, twice if necessary. The pupils listen and number. Teacher checks their answers. AUDIOSCRIPT One This is my friend Berik. Two This is my friend Kairat . Three This is my friend Assel. Four This is my friend Saule. CRAFTWORK. Teacher tells the pupils that they are going to make a photo frame and attach the picture of their best friend. Hands out the photocopies. Guides them through the cutting of the photo frames and the gluing of the photos. Alternatively, the pupils can draw a picture of their best friends. Teacher goes around the classroom, providing any necessary help. Pupils go to the board and shows a photo saying «This is my friend ...» Ex:13. Find and circle. Match. Teacher explains the activity. Revises the family words(Guides them through the cutting of the photo frames and the gluing of the photosy). The pupils find, circle and match the words to the corresponding family members. Teacher checks their answers. Project time. Teacher refers the pupils to the project and the picture. Asks the pupils to tell what they can see. Elicits grandma, grandpa, mummy , daddy. Explains that they are going to make a project about their family. They can use real photos or draw pictures. They can also write a short description. Assign the project for homework. During the next lesson teacher encourages the pupils to present their project to the classroom. Suggested answer key:			Resources CD,cards Track 25 CD 1 Photo frame
End	(An activity to consolidate the language of the lesson.) The pupils, in pairs, take turns and say a family member's name and the other has to guess who it is Demonstrate this yourself e.g. Pupil: Tracy! Teacher: Your mummy? Pupil: No! Teacher: Your sister? Pupil: Yes! Etc. Assessment Feedback Learners assess the partner’s descriptions of jobs.			With smiles
