This is Joe and Linda Brown. Joe and Linda Brown have two children. Scarlet is 35 years old. She is the oldest. Robert is 33 years old. He is the youngest. This is Mary and Phil Smith. Mary and Phil Smith have two children. Harriet is married to Robert Brown. This is Mr. Robert Brown and his wife Mrs. Harriet Brown. Harriet's younger sister is Karen. This is Karen with her husband Dave Black. Mr. and Mrs. Black have been married for 10 years. They have one daughter Sarah. Sarah doesn't have any brothers or sisters. Sarah doesn't mind being an only child. She has her cousins to play with. Her cousins Jake and baby Zak are her aunt Harriet's children. Sarah also loves staying with her grandparents. Sarah loves cooking cakes with her grandmother. And she loves listening to her grandfather's stories. Mary and Phil love their grandchildren. They have two grandsons. And one granddaughter. Sarah's uncle Robert and aunt Harriet have another niece, Abigail, and a nephew, Simon. Abigail and her brother Simon, live with their mother Scarlet. Their parents are separated and are going to get divorced. Their father lives in another house. He misses his son and daughter very much. He doesn't speak to his mother-in-law. But he does speak to his father-in-law. And he is still friends with his brother-in-law.

Тема: ”My Family” («Моя Cемья»)

Цель: формирование иноязычных коммуникативных компетенций учащихся.

Задачи:

1) Практические:

• совершенствование лексических навыков учащихся (лексика по теме «Семья»),

• совершенствование грамматических навыков учащихся (глагол have got – «иметь, обладать», притяжательный падеж существительных, указательные местоимения, модальный глагол can, личные и притяжательные местоимения),

• • совершенствование фонетических навыков учащихся (долгие и краткие гласные, межзубные звуки);

• развитие умений говорения (монологической и диалогической речи), аудирования, чтения, письма.

2)Образовательные:

• воспитанники учатся рассказывать о своей семье, своих предках, делиться своими чувствами и эмоциями по отношению к членам своей семьи;

• научить обмениваться информацией личного характера.

3)Воспитательные:

• способствовать воспитанию уважения к своей семье, ее истории, своим предкам, уважение к семейным отношениям;

• вызвать интерес к истории своей семьи, ее традициям;

• способствовать формированию взаимоуважения, самоуважения;

• способствовать формированию культуры поведения, толерантности, необходимости использовать правила вежливого поведения, культуры речи во время общения;

We’ll revise the words on that topic and you’ll be able to use them when you describe your families using your projects. Besides we’ll play interesting games, guess the crossword one of you has made. And you’ll learn how to meet a foreign friend.

II. Основная часть

What members of the family are mentioned in the riddle? What other members of the family do you know? Let’s play the “Champion” game and find it out.

1)Игра-соревнование

«Чемпион» (2 команды). (“The champion game”)

There will be 2 teams – “The Browns” and “The Greens”. I’ll give you the word in Russian and you should translate it into English. The results of your answers will be marked on the board. So the team having more correct answers it will become a champion.

Let’s see who knows the words better and who will become the champion.

Team 1- “The Browns” ,

Now it’s time to see how other people speak about their families. Let’s see a short film and you’ll find out how the family meets a guest from Great Britain. Be attentive, because we’ll do the task .

I see you know all the words and you can make up sentences with them. Now let’s speak about your families. At home you had to do the project about your family and now we are going to see how you can make presentations of your projects. But before doing that task tell me why it is important to know about your family, its history, traditions and roots.

Now come out to the front, show us your presentations and tell us about your families. The other pupils should be very attentive and may ask questions about the families.

7) Ролевая игра

«Семья принимает иностранного гостя».

So you know how to meet the foreign guests. Now one of you will be a guest from England, somebody will be a friend from Russia, somebody will be a mother, and somebody will be a father. The guest comes to Russia to visit his friend. And the friend introduces him to his family and asks him questions about his family.

Учащиеся делятся на группы и составляют диалоги. Затем презентуют их.

III. Заключительная часть.

1) Домашнее задание, его объяснение

Thank you very much. Your dialogues were interesting. At home you should make a family tree of the Browns.

Учащиеся записывают домашнее задание.

2) Подведение итогов,

рефлексия.

Now it’s time to finish our lesson. So what we have done today? What have you learnt? I would like you go to the board and appreciate you work.

There is a knowledge tree. There are green, yellow and red leaves. Green leaves mean that you like the lesson, yellow leaves mean that you had some difficulties during the lesson, red leaves mean that you haven't understood anything.
