Конспект урока английского языка в 6 классе на тему: Профессии

Урок по английскому языку для 6 класса по теме: Профессии

Технологическая карта урока.

Форма урока: комбинированный

Цель урока: способствовать формированию навыков устной речи по теме «Профессии».

Задачи:

Учебные:

- Совершенствовать произносительные навыки.

- Учить дифференцировать в речи вопросы Who is he? What is he?.

- Активизировать в речи лексические единицы предыдущего урока.

- Формировать навыки чтения с поиском заданной информации.

- Познакомить с новыми лексическими единицами.

- Способствовать формированию навыков монологического и диалогического высказывания по теме урока.

Развивающие

- Развивать внимание, память, языковую догадку.

- Развивать самостоятельность мышления.

- Развивать воображение

Познавательные

- Расширять кругозор через ознакомление с реалиями: “Тауэр”, “бифитер”.

Воспитательные

- Воспитывать уважительное отношение к различным видам профессиональной деятельности.

Оборудование: доска, DVD проигрыватель, таблицы, картинки, фотографии.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент. (2мин)

Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls!

I am glad to see you! What day is it today? What date is it today? What is the weather like today? What season is it now? Who is absent today? What’s the matter with…? What do you do to be healthy?

Let’s start our lesson. The topic of our lesson is “Job of my dream”.

2. Фонетическая зарядка» (2мин)

Teacher: So today we are going to speak about jobs . There are a lot of tongue twisters where professions are mentioned. Do you remember any of them?

P1: How many cookies could a good cook cook?

P2: A fisherman wished a good fish/

P3: She saw Sheriff’s shoes on the sofa.

P4: Rony the warrior and Roger the warrior were very brave.

P5: The Queen in green screamed.

P6: Singer Sammy sang songs.

P7: Editor Eddy edited it.



3.Активизация лексических единиц по теме: “ My job”(7мин)

Teacher: The word “job” is associated with several questions. Two of them are “What is a person?” and “Where does he work?” Let’s play. We have 3 rows in our classroom and they will be 3 teams. Each team gets a table with names of jobs and their definitions. You should match them. And we’ll see which team is the first.

Now I want to listen to you.

Teacher: Now I want to concentrate your attention on the following thing. Look at the blackboard, please. You can see a pair of questions: 1 – Who is he? 2 – What is he? What do we mean asking these questions?

P1: When we ask “Who is he?” we mean the name of the person.

P2: When we ask “What is he?” we mean the job of the person.



Teacher: Now find questions – synonyms:



P1What is his name?” P2“What is his Job?”



Teacher: Right. Now you know that people can ask about the same things in different ways. Let’s do an exercise in which you are to match the questions that have the same meaning. Open your workbooks at page 101,ex.1 read the task, please

C) Who are they? c) What are their jobs?

D) What are they? d) What are you?

E) What’s your job? d) What’s her job?

F) Who are you? f) What are their names?

G) Who is she? g) What is her name?



4. Аудирование. (10мин)



Teacher: I see, you know the vocabulary. I think you deserve a present. It will be a nice song. Listen to it.

Do you like it? How many professions are mentioned in this song? Let’s repeat them. Some jobs are well known to you but some are new ones. Look at the picture . What is he?



P1 He is a farmer. и т.д. (a doctor, a teacher, a dentist)



Teacher: Now new jobs. Repeat after me: a tailor a babysitter a plumber a fireman



Teacher: We’ll listen to this song once again. But before listening I’ll give you papers with tasks. Try to complete them during and after listening the song. Work in pairs. (Ученики выполняют 2 задания)



Teacher: Let’s check up these tasks.

5.Совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи. (Проверка домашнего задания. Защита проекта (работа в группах).(12мин)

Teacher: We know people of different professions: a doctor, a teacher, an engineer, a salesperson ,a librarian, a businessman and others.

These professions are very important because we can’t do without these people. They do different and useful work.

Teacher: Now I want you to make a presentation of your projects about jobs you like. Two groups of pupils made projects. The first group made the project in a form of Riddle. We’ll try to guess them. You are welcome! (Первая группа демонстрирует свой проект).

Примерное выступление учащихся:



P1. I want to help people. I would like to work at a hospital. It’s our family tradition. My grandfather was a surgeon. He had many patients. He operated them. I respect my grandfather. And I like his profession. I have a dream to be… (doctor)



P2. I like to watch TV, to listen to the radio, to read newspapers and magazines. It is interesting to meet and speak with people. I want to know what is going on in the world. Sometimes I take part in publishing school newspaper. So I want to be a …(journalist)



P3. Hi! I want to tell you about profession of my dream. It is interesting and romantic. I will work in the sky in a big white plane. There will be many passengers. I will help people to travel and see new places. Do you guess?



P4. My parents have a large library. I like reading books. My favorite

subject is literature. My beloved writers are Mark Twain and Jack London. I have a dream. I want to work with many books and give them to people. My future profession is… ( librarian)



P5. I like children. I like to write on the blackboard. My dream is to work at school. I want to have my own classroom with desks, chairs, flowers/ posters. I like to read and tell stories. I want to wear elegant clothes and high heells.



P6. Hi! I want to tell you about my future profession. People of this profession are strong and brave. They work hard. They help people in difficult situations. Like sport. I want to be very strong. I can do many things. My dream is to help people by day and at night What is my future profession?.



P7. I like animals. I have a cat and a hamster at home. But I would like to have many animals. I will feed them, clean and brush them. They are interesting, kind and clever like people. But I don’t want to be animals doctor. I want to be… (zookeeper)



Teacher: The secоnd group made their projects in a form of a dialogue. Let’s listen to them. (Вторая группа демонстрирует свой проект) Примерные диалоги учащихся:

P1 Hi! I’m from America. I’m glad to visit your school. Who is this? P2 This is Ivanov Mikhail Alekseevich. P1 What is he? P2 He is a headmaster. P1 Where does he work? P2 He works at our school. P1 What kind of person is he? P2 He is strict but fair. P1 What kind of job is this? P2 It is a hard job. P1 What does he have to do? P2 He has to plan school activities.

6.Физкультминутка (2мин)

Teacher: I see that you are a bit tired. Let’s do some physical exercises in order to relax and you’ll be fresh again in a minute.( Под музыку аудиозаписи учащиеся делают упражнения для релаксации.)



6. Формирование навыков чтения (8 мин.)



Учитель: There are a lot of different professions in the world. The professions we have mentioned are quite usual. But there are some unusual jobs.

Your task now is to read the text. After reading I want you to complete the tasks. There are cards of 3 levels: A; B; and C



If you think that it will be difficult, you should take cards with letter A.



If you are not quite sure of your skills take B.



If your English well take task C.



Pay attention to the following words: ( учащиеся читают текст, самостоятельно выбирают и выполняют задания.)

In England people can work as a Yeomen warder ( popularly known as “ a beefeater”).

The Beefeaters used to guard the Tower. The Tower of London is the main place of interest in England. Beefeaters have guarded the Tower since the reign of Henry VIII. To become a beefeater today you have to serve in the Army for at least 22 years.

Today beefeaters work mostly as guides. They show people around and tells stories about all the terrible things that have happened here. No one knows more about the history and secrets of the Tower than these famous men.

When they are guiding, they wear dark blue uniforms. On ceremonial occasions they wear red and gold tunics designed for them during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I.

Task for group B: Choose the correct translation. 1.The Beefeaters used to guard the Tower. a) Бифитеры используют Тауэр. b) Бифитеры охраняют Тауэр. с) Бифитеров охраняют в Тауэре. 2.To become a beefeater today you have to serve in the Army for at least 22 years.

7.Заключительная часть урока (1 мин.)

Teacher: Thank you, children. You have done a good job. And after the end of the lesson give me your diaries, please. I’ll give you good marks. Your hometask will be ex. 1,2,3 at page 102 in your Activity books. Open your diaries and write down hometask.
