HOBBY

I would like to see you about sports as a hobby of many people.Sport is popular with people of all ages.Some people prefer running or jumping,swimming,other people like to play different games.To my mind sport is very important in our life.It help us to be strong and healthy,to develop our mind and body.My hobby is playing football.This kind of sport helps me to meet interesting people and make new friends.In my opinion sport learns me to plan my time and it will help me to choose my future profession.

MY SCHOOL DAY

I would like to tell you about my school day.Iusually get up at 7 o’clock,then Ido morning exercise,dress,wash my hands and face and have breakfast.After the breakfast I go to school.My school day begins at 8 o’clock.Every day I have five or six lessons.At 11 I have lunch at school.We have a lot of interesting subjects on the timetable.Every day we have Russian and Maths.My school day is usually over at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.I have dinner at home.In the evening I help my mother about the house and do my lessons.Every evening I go for a walk.I always go to bed at 10 o’clock.

JACK LONDON

Jack London,an American writer,came of a poor family.When he was a schoolboy he had to sell newspapers and do other work to get money for a living.Then he became a sailor.Later he did some other work.

His life was very hard and he described it inhis book”Martin Eden”.

Jack London wrote about fifty books: short stories,novels and otherworks.

I would like to tell you about his story “Brown Wolf” .John and Mary Smith found a dog but it was strange and always run north.They called the dog “Wolf”.The Smiths loved the dog and took care of him.One day the dog’s old master came to them.He said that the dog’s name was Brown.Though Brown Wolf loved Smiths,his love for the old master was greater.

TRAVELLING BY AIR

Travelling by air or by plane is the quickest method of travelling.We can say that it is very expensive.Some people think travelling by air is the most dangerous method of travelling.If you travel by plane you can have a business trip or a tourist trip.You will by single or return tickets and have a seat in business or tourist class.

TRAVELLING BY SEA

They say travelling by sea is the most comfortable way of traveling but it can be rather dangerous(expensive).If the weather is fine you will enjoy the voyage.It is interesting to watch the sea,the sky and the birds travelling by sea.If you have a boat,you can go boating.People usually lie in the sun,walk listento the music on the ship radio or swim when they are on board the ship.It is very interesting to travel by sea.

TRAVELLING BY LAND

People usually travel on land.You can go by bus or by train,by car or on foot.Travelling by train is one of the most interesting methods of travelling.It is not very expensive but as a cot of kinds of it is dangerous.

Travelling by car is very convenient because you can stop everywhere you want.Travelling on foot is the cheapest method of travelling and for many people it is the hobby.
