Школьный театр на английском языке для 4 класса

Школьный театр на английском языке, как средство создания игровой иноязычной среды в начальной школе.

В нашей школе изучение английского языка начинается с первого класса. Когда мои ученики были в первом классе, я ставила с ними маленькие спектакли на английском языке, использовала много речевок и песен.

В третьем классе мы поставили музыкальный спектакль The Wizard of Oz.

Сейчас они уже заканчивают 4 класс. Прочитав сказку в учебнике Magic Mustard, ребята решили поставить спектакль по ней.

Какие же компетенции формирует театр? Прежде всего это, коммуникативная компетенция, которая включает в себя знание и использование английского языка, совершенствуя знания ребят, обогащая их словарный запас, развивая их память и беглость речи.

Программа составлена с учетом возрастных особенностей детей, желанием проявить себя в творческой деятельности, что повышает мотивацию изучения иностранного языка, а также, нашего опыта в том, что он позволяет осуществить перенос учебных знаний на практику, в ситуации, в которых организуется речевое свободное общение.

Цели и задачи

Обучающие цели:

1. Развитие и совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

2. Расширение содержательной основы обучения за счет овладения учащимися определенным объемом лексико-грамматических знаний.

Воспитывающие цели:

1. Создание положительной мотивации, познавательной активности и потребности в практическом использовании языка в различных сферах деятельности.

2. . Развитие чувства ответственности за результат.

Развивающие цели:

1. Развитие творческого потенциала учащихся через участие в постановке и представлении театрального действия.

Образовательная цель:

Расширение ключевых компетентностей:

-         многофункциональности (позволяет решать различные проблемы в повседневной социальной жизни)

-         значительное интеллектуальное развитие (абстрактное мышление, определение своей собственной позиции, самооценка критического мышления и др.)

Задачи:

Учащиеся должны:

-         совершенствоваться в грамотном и выразительном чтении текстов (ролей);

-         совершенствовать умение общаться на иностранном языке и аудировать;

-         научиться выражать свое мнение к той или иной проблеме;

-         научиться выполнять творческие задания различного характера;

-         развивать способность работать в коллективе.

Воспитательные и образовательные задачи:

1. Развивать творческие способности детей, их желание фантазировать и реализовывать желаемое в действительности.

2. Способствовать развитию театрального творчества, художественных и индивидуальных способностей детей.

3. Учить детей умело использовать речевые приемы рассказывания: интонацию, логическое ударение, выразительность, паузы, силу голоса.

Этапы работы:

1. Подготовительный этап:

- Прочтение сказки

- Написание сценария

- Организация детей по группам:

а) артисты

б) художники-декораторы

в) костюмеры

2. Основной этап:

- репетиции

- подготовка костюмов

- подбор музыкального сопровождения.

3. Заключительный этап:

Спектакль для учащихся 4-6 классов.

Narrator

Narrator: Once upon a time there was a place called Spice Country. In the capital of the country, in its main square there is the Pepperpot Palace where Queen Salt and her son Prince Pepper live. Prince Pepper is very rich

He has a lot of food but he likes mustard very much. He can’t live without mustard.

Director notes: ( The room in the palace. The Queen is sitting in an arm chair. Prince Pepper is standing in front of the Queen)

ACT ONE

Pepper: Oh my dear mother! I feel very bad. I have got a headache. There is something wrong with my stomach. There is no mustard in the palace. I can’t live without it.

Queen: Call the doctor! There is something wrong with the Prince .

(The prince is falling in an armchair. The doctor comes . )

Doctor: He is very ill. He can’t eat food without mustard. There is no mustard in

our shops.

Queen: “No mustard? I can’t believe it. Ask Sarah to come. She is a good girl and she is a friend of Prince.

(Sarah Sweet comes. She is very upset. She comes to the prince)

Sarah: No mustard! There is a lot of mustard in our Spice Country.

Queen: But it is not the right kind. It must be magic mustard. Someone has stolen all the prince’s magic seeds. We have told the police, but they can’t find the seeds.

We think the Vinegar Witch has done it, but she won’t talk to anyone but sweet, young girls.

Doctor: Look! She is very young and sweet! Will you help us?

Sarah: Of course I will. But where does the Witch live? How can I get there?

Queen: She lives with her cat Midnight in the castle which is in the mountains. You can get there by plane or by tram but you’ll have to go on foot. You must find the magic road to the mountains.

Sarah: I’m sure I’ll find the road! I want to help my friend. Goodbye, everyone!

(Sarah runs out of the Palace)

Sarah: How can I get to the castle it is in the forest high in the mountain ? May be by plane. I must find the magic airport. ( She sees a taxi)

Taxi! Taxi! Let’s go fast! I’m in a hurry!

Driver: Where to? Why are you in a hurry?

Sarah: I must fly to the mountains to find of Vinegar Witch’s castle and help my friend. To the airport!

Driver: Don’t worry . We will be there very soon. It will take us 10 minutes to get there.

Narrator: When Sarah arrived to the airport, bought a ticket and very soon the magic plane was under a big old tree. She was in the middle of the Wild Wood. She didn’t know where to go.

ACT 2

Sarah: I don’t know where to go. How can I get out of here?

Tree: Can’t you find the road?

Sarah: Who is speaking? I’m afraid. (She says in a whisper)

Tree: Speak up! I can’t hear you! Don’t they teach you to speak English at school? I can’t hear you!

Sarah: Please, sir, I’m looking for some magic mustard seeds. Someone stole them and my friend is dying. Where can I get them?

Tree: The Vinegar Witch may have some. But I’m not sure.

Sarah: Where does she live? How can I get her?

Tree: Let me explain. The road to the Witch’s cottage is to the left of the road leading to the main magic square and his road is to the right of the road leading to the magic airport.

Sarah: Could you repeat that , please? That was very difficult to remember.

Tree: Certainly not. You young people must learn to work without help. Hurry up! You can’t stay here all day long. Use your head and your feet.

Sarah: The road to the Witch’s cottage is to the left of the road leading to the main magic square and his road is to the right of the road leading to the magic airport.

Narrator: She goes straight ahead. It was a long way in the dark Wild Wood. Suddenly she saw the Witch’s home and went in.

ACT 3

(The room in the Witch’s home. He witch is sitting in an armchair near the fireplace. Her black cat Midnight is sitting in front of her)

Witch: Come up here! Welcome to my castle. I don’t have many visitors these days. Why have you come here?

Sarah: I’m looking or some magic mustard seeds. They say somebody has stolen them. But some people say you have them. Is that true?

Witch: Perhaps the people who say that are right. (She brings three boxes)

The magic seeds are in one of these boxes. We are not going to tell her that, are we, Midnight? You must guess.

Midnight: There are three boxes. Guess, in which are the seeds?

(Sarah opens the smallest box and found a bag of mustard seeds inside.)

Witch: Excellent! ( She said with an ugly smile) You may take them.

Midnight: Good bye!

ACT 4

(The Pepperpot Palace , the doctor the Queen are in it. Sarah comes)

Sarah: Look I have found them! Now Prince Pepper will feel better.

Doctor: Well done! Let’s give him some ham with the mustahrd.

Prince: How wonderful! (His face went red.)

Queen: What has happened?

Prince: The mustard’s so hot! I’ve never eaten such hot mustard. Oh, my! What shall I do? It’s burning inside.

Sarah: Oh dear, I’m sorry. That’s why the Witch smiled so nastily. But I have magic water.

(She gave him a cup of magic water and Prince is well again. He is happy)

Prince: Thank you very much. You saved me. Let’s have a party with everybody’s favourite food!

(They stand and sing a song)
