КВН ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ

5 КЛАСС

Тема: Школа.

Цель мероприятия:

1. Образовательная: расширение эрудиции учащихся, их общего кругозора;

2. Развивающая: развитие языковых интеллектуальных и познавательных способностей учащихся, их чувств и эмоций;

3. Воспитательная: формирование интереса у учащихся к изучению иностранного языка, формирование познавательной активности учащихся.

Ход мероприятия.

1. Организационный этап. Объяснение целей.

Dear boys and girls, I’m glad to see you. I think you are ready to work a lot and have a fun. Sit down, please.

Today we have a competition between two teams. I want you to be very active and careful. All of you will be given marks. Are you ready? OK! Let’s begin!

1. You should divide into two teams. Name your teams and choose the leaders.

2. The first round is called the question duel.

You should ask as many questions as you possible. And the other team should answer.

У детей на столах лежат школьные принадлежности. Каждая команда должна задать вопросы, а другая на них ответить, потом наоборот. ( Have you got a rubber/ a pencil/ a pen? Yes, I Have. No, I haven’t. )

1. Transcription task.

Some words are written in transcription. Guess what these words are.

1. Next, you should make up sentences and read them. Each team has the cards with the words. Put the words in the right order.

1 team: 1. I don’t like to play the piano.

2. My books are nice.

3. What do you want to be?

2 team: 1. We are from Moscow.

2. I don’t want to be a dentist.

3. Do you like to ride a horse?

VI. Now the captains’ competition.

Our captains are invited to take part in this competition. They have to tell us about themselves in English. Try to say as many sentences as you can. Are you ready? Who begins?

1. Next, it is the lexical task. You have to remember the words on the topic “School”. Write them down. Let’s begin. Remember as many words as you can.

2. The next competition is grammatical.

I wonder if you can notice some mistakes in the sentences. You have cards with sentences. There is only one grammatical mistake in each sentence. Find them please and then read aloud the correct variant.

2 team: 1. She doesn’t likes English.

2. Is you from great Britain?

3. We hasn’t got many pens.

4. He work at school.

IX. This time we’ll check your skill in spelling and writing.

You see some letters of the English Alphabet. Your task is to make up as many words from the letters as you can. Mind your spelling, please. You have 5 minutes for this task. Let’s start!
