Тhe theme: “If I was a pupil… ”
Aims: Revising of knowledge of teachers to enlarge vocabulary and to repeat grammar. Developing of speaking, writing.
Visiual aids: computer with proektor, cards, flip charts.
І. Organization moment.
Good day dear teachers! Welcome to our competition “If I was a pupil…”! In this competition you may repeat you knowledge of English.
The teachers stand round and tell others that they didn’t know what was in the past (young)
II. The rounds of competitions:
- Thanksgiving cryptogram.
- Polyglot.
- The best Erudite.
- Who is the best?
- Pictures and me.
- If I was a pupil…
- Round “Thanksgiving cryptogram”. Write the letters on the lines and match the words with the pictures.
- Round. “Polyglot” You must translate proverbs and give Kazakh and Russian equivalent.
East or west, home is best.
So many countries, so many customs.
Actions speak louder than words.
A friend in need is a friend endeed.
Live and learn.
Health above wealth.
Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
First think then speak.

- The famous Kazakh writer.
- One of the oceans.
Letter B.
- The little child.
- The name of the fruit.
- The antonym of the word “good”
- The capital of Germany.
- The name of the School subject.
- The lake in Kazakhstan.
- The room where we sleep.
- Round “Pictures and me”. Look at the board and name the pictures.
- Round “If I was a pupil..” You must make sentences with construction
“If I was a child I would study very well.”
III. Conclusion. Our competition will come finish and our juries say about your places.
