FAST FOOD

Цель:

  1. практическая - развивать коммуникативные умения; совершенствовать лексико – грамматические навыки по теме «Fast Food», развивать умения аудирования, чтения, письменной и устной речи;

  2. образовательная – получить знания о проблемах нездоровой еды, развивать умения транслировать эти знания средствами иностранного языка;

  3. развивающая – развивать чувство языка, языковой догадки, всех видов памяти, логики, развивать умение критически мыслить и отстаивать собственную точку зрения;

  4. воспитательная – формировать мировоззрение, воспитывать чувство ответственности за будущее человечества, бережное отношение к своему здоровью.


Тип урока: комбинированный

Оборудование: доска, компьютер, тем. картинки, грам. карточки, текст для чтения, аудиозапись.

План урока

  1. Организационный момент.

  2. Речевая зарядка.

  3. Сообщение темы и цели урока. Мотивация на изучение темы.

Ученик опаздывает на урок и заходит в класс с пакетом чипсов.

P: I’m sorry, I’m late. May I come in? May I sit down?

T: Of course, you may. Oh, wait a minute! What do you have in your hand?

P: A packet of chips.

T: Chips? Do you like chips?

P: Yes, I do.

T: Do you think chips are tasty?

P: Yes, I like chips because they are tasty.

T: Ok, class, who likes chips up your hand! Aha, do you think they are tasty?

Ps: Yes, they are tasty! T: Do you think they are useful?

P1: No! I think they are bad for our health!

T: You know there is healthy and unhealthy food. Look at the blackboard. What can you see there?

P2: Pictures of different food.

T: yes. What kind of food can you see?

P3: Fast food or junk food.

T: So, who can tell us the topic of our lesson?

P4: Fast food.

T: Ok, you are right. What else will we do today?

P5: We’re going to revise the usage of the pronouns much/ many/ few/ little.

P6: We’re going to speak about advantages and disadvantages of fast food.

P7: We’re going to read the text about fast food.

P8: We’re going to analyze the information about fast food and discuss it in groups.

P9: We’re going to revise the active vocabulary of the topic.

T: You are right! Let’s start!

T: Now, tell me, please, can we use these words as singular or plural? Can you say «немного пиццы»? «Несколько хот-догов»?

T: Ok, now you should do a grammar task.

The modern pizza was originally invented in Naples, Italy but the word pizza is Greek in origin, derived from the Greek word pēktos meaning solid or clotted. The ancient Greeks covered their bread with oils, herbs and cheese. The first major innovation that led to flat bread pizza was the use of tomato as a topping. It was common for the poor of the area around Naples to add tomato to their yeast-based flat bread, and so the pizza began.


While it is difficult to say for sure who invented the pizza, it is however believed that modern pizza was first made by baker Raffaele Esposito of Naples. In fact, a popular urban legend holds that the archetypal pizza, Pizza Margherita, was invented in 1889, when the Royal Palace of Capodimonte commissioned the Neapolitan pizzaiolo Raffaele Esposito to create a pizza in honor of the visiting Queen Margherita. Of the three different pizzas he created, the Queen strongly preferred a pie swathed in the colors of the Italian flag: red (tomato), green (basil), and white (mozzarella). Supposedly, this kind of pizza was then named after the Queen as Pizza Margherita.


Later, the dish has become popular in many parts of the world:


The first pizzeria, Antica Pizzeria Port'Alba, was opened in 1830 in Naples.

In North America, The first pizzeria was opened in 1905 by Gennaro Lombardi at 53 1/3 Spring Street in New York City.

The first Pizza Hut, the chain of pizza restaurants appeared in the United States during the 1930s.

Nowadays, many varieties of pizza exist worldwide, along with several dish variants based upon pizza.

You are what you eat. We can meet different cafes and restaurants in the each corner of the streets. So, fast food is very popular not only with adult people but with children. Why do people prefer fast food? Firstly, it is a good chance to have a snack when you do not have enough time. This food is cooked very fast and you don`t need to wait for a long time being hungry. Secondly, fast food is not expensive and you can buy it everywhere. Thirdly, fast food is tasty.

But how does this food influence the health? Some people don`t eat fast food. They think that it is very unhealthy and it is harmful for their health. This food is fat and sweet and because of it, people, who like fast food and eat it very often, suffer from the obesity and they have problem with health. We should choose healthy food which is not harmful for us. Food must be useful but fast food destroy our health, and we know that "health is the greatest wealth".
