Тема : «Обучение технологии написания личного письма. Летние каникулы»
Тип урока: открытие нового знания (обучение написанию письма другу по переписке)
Цель урока: Сформировать умения написать и оформить письмо-ответ другу по переписке на английском языке
Задачи:
- Выведение структуры и алгоритма написания личного письма
- Отработка клише
- Решение коммуникативной задачи (умение совершать монологические высказывания по теме на английском языке)
- Обучение навыкам письменной речи
- Работа с лексикой (выделение и отработка важных лексических единиц для дальнейшего использования в своем письме-ответе)
Ход урока:
Оргмомент.
Good morning students. Nice to see you. Sit down children. What’s the date today? Who is absent?
Активизация. (показать 2 фотографии)
Look at these two pictures. What is common? What is different? What letters do you write nowadays? Why? (Примерные ответы учеников: They are writing a letter. In the first picture a man is writing a letter with a pen, while in the second picture we can see an e-mail, someone typed it.)
Мотивация.
Let me point your attention to the following statement:
“What a lot we lost when we stopped writingletters. You can't reread a phone call.” Liz Carpenter
Do you understand this quotation? What does it mean? (Ответы детей)
So, we can’t save the phone call, we can’t keep it in our memory for a long time. But we can save and collect letters and reread them from time to time.

How do you think what the topic of our lesson is? (ответы детей)
Today it’ll be a personal letter. We’ll discuss how to write a personal letter about your summer holidays, its structure and we’ll remember the rules of writing.
Работа с эталоном. Чтение полученного письма, анализ.
Children, you’ve just received letters from your pen-friend. Let’sreadthem. Let’sreadtheletter (ученик читает письмо вслух, у остальных на партах то же самое письмо, все следят и внимательно слушают читающего).
Dear Liza,
How’s your summer going? I’m having a great time here in Bali, Indonesia. We are staying in an amazing beach hut. The weather is wonderful-it’s hot and sunny every day!
We spent our first two days sunbathing and snorkeling and I even tried surfing for the first time! The waves were huge, so it was a bit scary, but a lot of fun. Later today, we are eating at a restaurant in the mountains and there’ll be a traditional dance performance there, too. I think it’ll be fantastic!
Tomorrow, we’re going on a mountain bike tour through the Balinese countryside. We’re going to ride past rice fields and visit some traditional villages. I can’t wait! And what do you usually do during the summer holidays? Where did you go last summer and what did you do there?
Well, I’m off now. We’re going to the party with some new friends! See you next week.

Let’s underline useful phrases(I’m having a great time; we are staying in…; The weather is wonderful; sunbathing, snorkeling, a mount bike, etc). + let’s pay attention to linking words (so, but, and).
What questions has your friend asked? Let’s read them and underline with a pen.

So, do you want to write a reply? Let’s try and make a plan how to write a letter of reply. Liza, could you please come to the board and put parts of the letter in the right order. (Раздать листочки) Один человек составляет схему на доске, остальные в тетрадях. (Учащемуся выданы карточки с данными словами и он распределяет их правильно на доске):

Thank you, Liza! Well done! Now, I’ll give a sheet of paper to each of you. There’s a phrase on each piece. Your task is to match the phrase with the suitable part of the letter. (Остальным учащимся раздается каждому по 1 листочку, на котором написана фраза. Ребятам необходимо соотнести фразу (клише) с соответствующей частью письма).

Каждый учащийся подходит к доске и прикрепляет свою фразу к соответствующему пункту (например: Address – Arkhangelsk, Data – 04.02.2020, Greeting – Dear…, etc)
Everybody has coped with the task. Great! Now you know what the structure of a letter of reply is and what phrases are the most suitable for each paragraph. Do not forget about punctuation! I’ll give you a handout, use it while writing a letter of reply. (Теперь учащиеся знают какая структура у личного письма и какие клише необходимо использовать при написании письма).
