Урок английского языка в 10 классе.

Тема: Пусть планета будет зелёной.

Цель:1.Закрепление лексики по теме.

2.Закрепление навыков разговорной речи, чтения, письма, аудирования.

3.Формирование грамматических навыков.

4.Расширение кругозора обучающихся по теме.

5.Воспитание бережного отношения к природе.

Материал: учебник Click on 4, диск, раздаточный материал, тематическая картина.

 

 

 

 

 

 

       План урока.

1.Организационный момент.

Good morning! Glad to see you. The  theme of the lesson is “Be  clean, be green”.

2.Let’s  check the meaning of some words and expressions.(диск и карточки)

Endangered species, deforestation, pollution, natural resources, recycle, alternative sources of energy, dripping taps, leaking pipes, overhunting, overfishing, acid rain, damage, destroy, the ozone layer, dangerous.

3.Answer  my questions.

1)What  great problems do we have with the environment?(deforestation, air, water, soil pollution, water shortage, energy crisis, animal extinction, global warming, overhunting, overfishing)

2)What  alternative energy sources can we use?(solar, wind power)

3)What  do overhunting and overfishing cause?(the extinction of rare animal species)

4).What does acid rain destroy?(forest, crops, buildings)

5).Why must we plant trees?(they absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen)

6).What does global warming cause?(droughts, the black hole in the ozone layer, animal extinction, water shortage, fire)

7)What  things should be done to protect our nature?(fines, social organizations, much work)

4.Some  pupils prepared reports. You should listen to them and ask questions.

The first report is “Air. Water, soil pollution.”

The second report is “Deforestation. Animals in danger.”

The third report is “Natural resources are not endless.”

The fourth report is “Greenhouse effect. Global warming.”

Now questions of the pupils.

5.Well done. Now let’s read the text and do the tasks.(Каждому ученику даётся лист с заданием, сделать письменно.)

6.Well, what should we do to protect our nature? If you can, do it in a poetic form. It was your homework.

Ответы учащихся.

1)The  government  should make great fines for illegal hunting and fishing, for pollution and industrial waste.

2)Wind and solar energy may be the answer to energy crisis.

3)We should preserve endangered  species of animals.

4)We should inform  water company about leaking pipes.

5)We can walk to school, not go by car.

6)We can take a shower instead of bath.

7)We should save energy and water at home.

8)We should recycle paper , metal, glass, plastic.

9)We should plant trees and put rubbish into special bins.

10)We should feed birds cats and dogs and help them survive.

11)We save energy at home,

Switch off lights when we aren’t in.

Talking  little by the phone.

Watching seldom TV screan.

12)Me and brother’re saving water,

Taking shower , not bath.

For the taps give no quarter.

We repair leaking pipes,

13)We get oxygen for breathing

From the trees and from the plants.

And we all do not stop ceasing

To take care of the lungs.

7.Let’s listen to the text of exercise 12, page 73

8.At last we came to the end. Marks. Homework: Ex.20, page38-39.
