Проблемы курения.

Цели:

1. Совершенствование навыков изучающего чтения

2. Контроль навыков диалогической речи по изучаемой теме

3. Активизация навыков орфографии

4. Привлечение внимания учащихся к проблемам курения, как опасной и вредной привычке

Ход урока:

1. Орг.момент:

Good morning, children!

Good morning now

Wake body, wake mind!

Work, play, seek, find

Eat breakfast, dinner too,

Wash, brush, sing, dance and do!

We’ll spend today’s lesson discussing the problems of smoking. Let’s remember our poem “Good Advice”

Who is ready to recite the poem artistically.

VII.Совершенствование навыков чтения по теме «Курение»

It’s popular to smoke nowadays.

Young boys and girls, men and women smoke every day. What do you think about this habit?

Let’s read the story from ex.132, p.91 and find out the reasons why you shouldn’t smoke.

Who will name the first reason (second, third)?

• Smoking is deadly.

• People (50000 in Britain) die from lung cancer heart attacks and other causes

• A smoker shortens his life by 5.5 minutes with each cigarette.

What is the most important - Smoking is deadly reason in your opinions.

VIII. Тренировка навыков диалогической речи по теме «Курение»

I want you to work in pairs.

Use the questions from ex.133 at p.91 and interview your partner.

Write down his/her answers and get ready to tell us his/her opinion.

P₁: What do you think of smokers?

P₂: I think they don’t care of his life, his health.

P₁: Do smokers care of others?

P₂: When they smoke they make harm to other people’s health. They don’t care of their children’s health.

P₁: Do you think smoking is dangerous for a person who lives in the same house with a smoker?

P₂: A person who lives in the same flat with the smoker is a passive smoker. And a passive smoker shortens his life too.

P₁: Do you think smoking in the office is polite?

P₂: It is not polite to smoke in the office.

P₁: излагает мнение своего партнёра по проблеме «Курение».

IX. Активизация навыков устной речи. Развитие воображения и мысли.

You can see different sings, prohibiting smoking everywhere: on the T-shirts, in the shops, in the parks.

Let’s read the sings in ex.134, p.91 (T/B).

Work in group of three and draw the illustration to them. (читают и переводят предложения. В группе по три человека рисуют плакат к выбранному утверждению)
