Good afternoon dearteachers, guests and pupils! I am glad to greet you at our intellectual “To visit to London”Todaywill try your luck in English. The aim of this competition is todevelop communicative skills and abilities through differentcommunicative activities and to encourage real use of language in groups.

First off all let me introduce our Jury: teachers of English:

Lets repeatthe last lesson. (pen, pencil, bag, note book, book).(slaid)

Intellectual competition

Theme:To visit in London.

Aims: -generalization of childrenknowledge,

-to develop communicative skills and abilities through different communicative activities;

-to bring up and increase children interests to English language.

Visual aids: the theme of the competition, pictures, word cards, video material…

The plan of the lesson

  1. Organizational moment

Good afternoon dear teachers, guests and pupils! I am glad to greet you at our intellectual “To visit to London”Today will try your luck in English. The aim of this competition is to develop communicative skills and abilities through different communicative activities and to encourage real use of language in groups.

First off all let me introduce our Jury: teachers of English:

Lets repeat the last lesson. (pen, pencil, bag, note book, book).(slaid)

The competation consist of three rounds:

  1. Presentation for group.

  2. Baiga:

  1. Capitals

  2. Grammar

  3. Grag-Bag

  4. Spelling

  1. Conclusion.

  1. The basic part of the lesson.

The first round is called’’Presentation’’. The teams should introduce themselves.

So, lets start1 ‘’Good luck’’ to each team.

(teams present themselves-its name, symbol and motto). Thank you very much.

1-Magic

2-Fantastic

3-Smart

The second round is called ‘’Baiga’’. There are different kinds of questions.

If you are ready, lets begin.

-What is the capital of Great Britain? – London

-What do you want to be?- I want to be a teacher.

-What kind of professions do you know? Doctor…

-Spell the word beautiful.

- What is the capital of China?-Pechin.

-Past Simple-was

-How do you say ‘’таңғы ас’’in English.-Breakfast.

- Spell the word information.

What is the capital of Kazakhstan?-Astana.

-Spell the word temperature.

-Can.

-What do you eat for lunch?-bread

-What is the capital of America?-Washington.

-How many boys are their in your class?-There are…

-Your hobby. My hobby is swimming.

-Spell the word biscuit.

-What is the capital of Germany?-Berlin.

-Present Simple. Is to be

-What is your teacher like?-She is beautiful.

Ok good.

Let’s play our game.

III. Conclusion.

Now listen to our jury. I think both teams did their best.
