Dialogue Changing impressions about visiting London.
Speaker1: Mary
Speaker2: Helen
- S1 Hello, Helen. Nice to meet you.
- S2 Oh, hello, Mary. I haven’t seen you for ages. When have you returned from the trip to England?
- S1 Yesterday in the afternoon. I’m full of impressions.
- S2 What places in England have you visited?
- S1 Many. Especially I’m fond of London, the capital of the country, and its sights: Trafalgar Square, the Strand, the Tower, Hyde Park, the National Gallery etc.
- S2 Splendid! And what was the greatest?
- S1 You know, it was Madame Tussaud’s Museum of wax figures. The items there look like real.
- S2 Of course, this museum is very famous all over the world. And where did you stay in London?
- S1 At the family of our pen-friends. They are so welcome. They invite to visit London next year again.
- S2 How well. You are lucky. See you later, Mary.
- S1 See you, Helen.
