T: Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you. How are you? Take your seats, please. Answer my question, please, what you usually do every day except Sunday. Right, you go to school. What do you usually do at school? Today we are going to speak about school life. 3min.

That’s great and cool! Thank you very much! Now let’s split into 3 groups (School subjects, holidays, school activities) Come to the desk and take a triangle (red, green or yellow). Each student takes a card with a word: dancing, singing, art club, sports games, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, New Year, Victory Day, Teachers’ Day, Nauryz.
III. Checking of the homework. Ex.9 p. 59. 5 min.
T: Your homework was to make up 5 sentences about Schools in Kazakhstan in Present Simple. Now find the verbs in the text and give 3 forms of these verbs.
IV. Listening. (Ученики смотрят видео фильм и затем заполняютдиаграмму Венна)
T: Let’s watch a video film. Видеоролик с www.youtube.ru «Schools in Great Britain»
Now let’s fill in Venn’s diagram. What is common in schools in Great Britain and in Kazakhstan? What is different in them? 10 min.
VI. Musical pause. Let’s have a little rest and dance. (Gummy bear)
VII. Group work. T: Would you like to wear a school uniform? Why? / Why not? Now in groups you will discuss advantages and disadvantages of wearing a school uniform. Group I – advantages
Group II – disadvantages
Group III – you’ll make your own design of a school uniform.
Then each group presents their cluster. 8 min.
VIII. Reading. Ex. 13. p. 61
T: You will read the text by yourselves, write down new words into your vocabularies, then in pairs read and translate it to each other. 10 min.
IX. Reflection. T: What would you change in your school life? (Students write a word on a sticker and stick it on the basket of ideas) 2 min.
X. Homework. To write an essay “ What would I like to change in my school life?” 1 min.
XI. Feedback. Students say their opinions of the lesson, of each other’ s work and say wishes to each other. 2 min.
XII. Good Job! Thank you ! The lesson is over. Good bye!
