The population of Canada
The aim of the lesson is to develop communicative skills and abilities, to develop the students interest in the subject of English.
Educational: to give more information about population of Canada.
Developing: to develop critical thinking, logical speech, to develop pupils speaking, reading, listening comprehension abilities, memory.
Bringing up: to create interest in studying English. Connection of the subjects: Kazakh, Geography, history.
Visual aids: the interactive board, sides, pictures, cards, the map of Canada.

Greetings
Good morning boys and girls. Nice to see you. How are you today? Who is absent? What day is it today? What date is it today? How is the weather today?
Today we have unusual lesson, we have a lot of guests at our lesson. Don’t worry take it easy, and listen to this song. Now, let’s I want to divide you into 3 groups. There are some money on the desk. Please, come and take one of them. Take your seats, please. And choose the head of the group.

The climate of Canada.
Summers can be hot and dry on the prairies, humid in central Canada, and milder on the coasts. Spring is generally pleasant across the country. Autumns are often crisp and cool, but brightened by rich orange and red leaves on trees. Winters are generally cold with periods of snow, although southern Alberta enjoys the occasional "Chinook", a warm dry wind from the Rocky Mountains that gusts through and melts the snow. Winters are mild and wet on the west coast, in cities such as Vancouver and Victoria.
The Canadian winters are cold and long, and in the northern reaches of the country they can be brutal. In the central interior and prairie provinces, the daily average temps (in winter) are near 5°F, with daily lows near -20°F; significantly lower on occasion. In these regions, snow can cover the ground almost six months of the year, while in the far-north, nine months of snow cover (or more) is the norm.

The population of Canada
Canada is a vast country, larger than US, larger than the continent of Australia. The French were the first settlers in this country. As far baсk as the 15 th century French explores crossed the Atlantic, and sailed up the east coast of Canada.
Canada’s beginning were French, and French is the language spoken today by about fifth of its people. Many settlers came to Canada from England, Scotland and Ireland, so today about two thirds of the people of Canada speak only English, Canada, therefore has two national languages, English and French.
The population of Canada is over 26 million people. In the country there are 330,000 Indians and 25000 Eskimos, who live mostly in the north. Today more than 40 per cent of the people of Canada came originally from Britain, about 30 per cent from France and 20 per cent from other countries.
