Тема урока: «Christmas».

Тип урока: Урок закрепления «Christmas in England».

Цели урока:

1. образовательные:

   • организовать повторение лексического и страноведческого материала по данной теме;

   • способствовать формированию у учащихся навыков  социолингвистического и лингвострановедческой компетенции;

2. развивающие:

• развивать память, внимание, воображение, логическое мышление, языковую догадку.

• развивать творческую фантазию, познавательный интерес, инициативу в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности;

• прививать интерес к изучаемому предмету;

• формировать культуру слушателя, рассказчика и вежливого собеседника;

• воспитывать у учащихся чувство прекрасного и уважение к культуре и традициям других народов;

• воспитывать чувство взаимной ответственности, прививать навыки работы в коллективе.

Ход урока:

I.Организационный момент

T: Hello, my dear friends! I’m glad to see all of you here! What season is it now? What month is it now?

Today we’ll have an unusual lesson. Why? What will we speak about? Have a look at the screen and say what the topic of our lesson is. (вкл.видео)

1.Работа с текстом

T: You know that Christmas is the most favourite holiday in Great Britain. Now you’re going to read the text “Get ready for Christmas” about Christmas traditions in Britain. Your task is to decide if the following sentences are true or false. Don’t forget to correct the false sentences. You have 8 min.to fulfill the task. (раздаю распечатки с текстом)

-Your time is up. Let’s see what you got. (Well-done)

The next task is the following. You’re to match the word to the picture. I give you 5 min.to be ready with the task. (раздаю распечатки)

2.Игра “Find Christmas object”

T: Now let’s play a bit. The task is to find the things in the picture. Who finds all the things correctly for 5 min., will get a small prize.

3.”Christmas wordsearch”

T: Find the words and number the pictures. Words can go across and down. Discover the secret message. You have 6 min.

-Let’s see if you have fulfilled this task well. What is the secret message?

4. Песня “Jingle Bells”

T: Now let’s sing one of the most well-known Christmas songs. What do you think what this song is? (Quite right!) (текст песни на экране)
