II. Key vocabulary. Saying the theme of the lesson
Teacher: The theme of our lesson I suggest you to guess as you look at the slide 1. Here you have some words. Your task is to match the word in English with their equivalent in Russian: big, cheap, expensive, fast, short, new, old, powerful, long, slow, small, tall, young.
Now look at these words and say what part are these words and what is the difference between them. Yes, you are right the theme of our lesson is the adjective and comparison of adjectives
At the end of the lesson you can:

III. Presentation.
T: Open your books at page 72, ex. 2
Look Read the two adverts. What are Ben and Lisa selling? Is Ben’s computer the same as Lisa’s?
Now read the sentences. Which is Lisa’s computer? Which is Ben’s? Write near the sentences Ben or Lisa.
Complete what Ben and Lisa say with the adjectives given in b. Then listen and check.
IV. Key grammar.
T: Adjectives have three degrees of comparison: positive, comparative and superlative. Today we’ll study comparative degree.
Look at the ex 3 p 73: complete the example and read the explanations.
P. We have one, two-syllable words and three or more-syllable words. If we have one syllable word we add –er, if more we put more before adjectives. Ps tell the rule in pairs.
