  1. Organization moment

-Good morning, children!!

- How are you?

- Could you stand in a circle?

- Now I give a box. You should take a picture from the box and tell me what is it

- Well done!

- For every answer I’ll give you cards.

Star – excellent!

Triangle – very good!

Square – not bad.


  1. New theme

- Now look at the blackboard and try to tell me what is the theme of our lesson?

- Yes! Very good! Today we are going to learn Pets

- Repeat after me:

  • Rabbit

  • Dog

  • Fish

  • Cat

  • Mouse


(Teacher takes away 1 card and children should say what is missing)

Warming up

- Now please stand up

- Make a circle

- I tell you the commands. You should show me

- And I show you the commands, you should say

- Stand up, sit down, clap your hands, stomp your feet, jump, dance

Work in group

  • Look at the black-board

  • You can see new words: Rabbit, Fish, Mouse

  • I’ll give the letters, and you should make the words

  • Well done, open your Activity books


Work in group

  • For each group I give the cards

  • First group you are dogs, second group you are cats, and third group you are rabbits, listen my commands

  • Dogs – clap your hands

  • Rabbits – stomp your feet

  • Cats – dance please etc.

  • Stand up please, go to the black board, stay in pairs, let’s start

Work in group

  • I’ll give you the pictures

  • You should color them according to the numbers

1 – red, 2 – blue, 3 – green, 4 yellow, 5 – brown, 6 - white
