  • name some members of family without teacher support

Most learners will be able to:

  • use «this» to identify things
  • answer some questions concerning their  families

  • talk  about their  families

ORGANIZATION MOMENT

Warm Up:

Review home task.

Teacher will have Learners move into a circle. Revise the previously studied colors: red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, etc

T gives different coloured shapes. To divide into groups

  1. Explain the aims of the lesson:
  • Do you like your family?  Look at me. Today we are going to learn the members of our family in English. \procedural questions\

DEMONSTRATION

  1. Teacher demonstrates with a flash cards:
  2. Pupils repeat new words after teacher in chorally and individually.  \individual support\

Grandpa, Grandma

  1. Pre-listening:  Using flash cards explanation “This is …” \individual support\ \ I’ll use method  modeling. I’ll support their answers. \modelling\ Assessment with gestures.  

 

    

  1. Listen to the text about family.
  1. While listening: Learners repeat familiar sentences when they are listening. 
  1. Post listening:  The teacher will show cards, and the pupils will find a family member in the picture
  1. Pair work in group. Talk to your friend. Say about your family. \S-S methods\  

          Learners talk about family each other.

 8.  Physical training

  1. T. shows the video and Ss should sing along the song and do the actions together with T. 
  1. Conclusion

Individual work.

Answer the question.   \Individual  assessment by gesture\

1. Have you got a family? \convergent question \

2. Say about your family? \divergent question\

3. Say me please about your granny? \divergent question\

4. Have you got a brother? \convergent question \

5. Have you got a sister? \convergent question \ 

  1. Group work. Draw a Family Tree. \checking understanding\

Each group presents their family tree. \collaborative learning\,\ self assessment\

  1. FEEDBACK

Use three colures. Red – not understand. Yellow – partly understand. Green – understand. Learners will write their names on stickers and will stick to determined color.
