Развитие социокультурных компетенций обучающихся: речевой культуры, культуры общения, умения работать в группе.
ХОД УРОКА
Good morning, children!
I am glad to see you.
Today we shall have an unusual lesson. First we have the guests today. Please, say “Hello” to our guests. Second, we shall have a competition on the topic “Evening with your family”. We have two teams. Let us think of the names for your teams and choose the captains.
What is the name of your team? Who is your captain?
Well. Are you ready to begin?
Task 1. English sounds
The first task is called “English sounds”.
There are some symbols of the sounds for each team. You must make up the words from these symbols.
Your team was the first. You did your task right and are getting 2 points. You were right too. But you were the second. So you are getting only one point.
Task 2. My family
Listen to the second task.
I want you to listen to my stories. I shall describe the members of the family. You must guess what person this is.

She is not old. She is a doctor. She is the best woman for her children. The children love her very much. And she loves her children too. Who is this? (a mother)
Let us check. Look at the picture. Were you right?
2. He is young. He does not work. He goes to school. He likes English and Mathematics. His favourite game is football. (a brother) Let us check.
1.He is not young, but he is not old. Не works at the office. He likes to drive a car. He loves his children. (a father) Let us check.
2. He is old. He does not work. But he likes to work in the garden. The children love him and help him. He loves the children too. (a grandfather)

She is small. She does not go to school. She likes to play with her toys.

Task 3. Find the verbs in the past.
There are ten verbs in the Past Tense in this box. They go in two directions (down and across). Find the verbs in the Past (in the second form). You have 4 minutes.
How many do you have? Read the verbs.
Let us check. Look at the screen. You can see all the verbs there.
Task 4. Hobbit’s letters.
This is the task for your captains. Hobbit wrote a letter for each team. Some words are missing. They are in the box bellow the text. You must fill in the words.
Task 5. Snowball.
Our captains are working and we shall play. The game is called “Snowball”.
One team will name the regular verbs in the Past (in the second form); the second team - irregular verbs. Please, choose the cards.
Your snowball was bigger and your answers were better. Your team is getting 2 points. The second team is getting only 1 point.
Task 6. Where is the cat?

Look at the pictures and say where the cat is.
The teams will answer in a turn.

Look at the pictures and say where the dog is.
You will get one point for each right answer.
Are the captains ready?
The captains are reading the letters.
Task 7. “The field of wonders”.
Now we shall play “The field of wonders”
There are eleven letters in this word. You must guess the letters and the word.
