Используемое оборудование - Карточки, картинки, компьютер, мультимедийный проектор

Краткое описание: 

Проверка и систематизация знаний лексического и грамматического материала по теме "Взаимоотношения между родителями и детьми. Что делает родителей хорошими?” Обсуждаются вопросы взаимоотношения детей и родителей.

 Цели: Образовательные: учить самостоятельно, добывать знания;

                                              формировать лексические умения, закрепить лексические    

                                              единицы по теме ; формировать грамматические умения:

                                              закрепить грамматическую структуру Complex Object.

 

             Развивающие: развитие умения извлекать нужную информацию;

                                      обобщать, рассуждать.

        

            Воспитывающие: формировать гражданскую позицию и отношение к проблеме;

                                            осознавать ответственность перед семьей и обществом,

                                            формировать нравственные ценности.

 

 

                                               Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент:

           Good morning, boys and girls! Sit down, please. Get ready for the lesson. We have much to do today. The topic of our lesson is “Relationships between children and parents. What makes parents good?” and the epigraph of our lesson is

The family is a mirror of the society where we live. Our society will be better if we try to understand each other.”

And the main aim is to discuss this problem using words, expressions and grammar of the unit. “Fathers and children”- is a problem of all times. Parents think their children don’t understand them, but children think these are parents, who don’t understand them. And today we’ll try to speak about it and solve this problem.


  1. Основной этап:


    1.  Now look at the screen. Here you can see some points that can cause misunderstanding between parents and their children. Say what the most important point is for you. Why? (дети высказывают свое мнение)

a) Future education

b) School problems

c) Pocket money

d) Computer games

e) Housework

f) Parties

g) Friends


2.2 Now you are going to listen to several ideas of some teens. Please match these ideas with the problems. One point is extra. You do not need it. (Listening) (проверяем)



2.3 Grammar

Now say:

1.      What do parents want their children to do?

2.      What don’t parents want their children to do?

3.      What do children want their parents to do?

4.      What don’t children want their parents to do?

Please, use the construction “Parents want their children to…..”

“Children want their parents to……”


1) tell about their progress and their problems;

2) allow them to do whatever they like;

3) appreciate their wishes;

4) avoid conflicts with their teachers;

5) praise them for all the good things that they do;

6) disturb them about cleaning of their rooms;

7) ignore their advice;

8) cheer them up;

9) care about their filings.


As you understand today we revise “Complex Object”. (Slide)

Let’s revise some verbs when we don’t use “to”. These verbs express emotions and fillings.

        Now look at the screen! Your task is to put “to” or nothing. I’ll give you one minute for this task.

    1. What is an ideal family? What are the ideal relationships between the members of the family?

Let’s read the text about an ideal family. But before do this task. Match word combinations with their meanings. Firstly let’s read each column. (каждую колонку читают по 2 человека)

Now let’s do some exercises that are connected with the text.

(B) Answer some of my questions about the text: (слабые читают вопросы)

  1. How can you characterize this family?

  2. Is David happy to have such a family? Prove this. Find sentences from the text.

  3. What ways of solving conflicts does his family use? How do you solve problems in your family? (As for me I usually try to talk with my husband and my son if we have some misunderstanding)

  4. David says that family is not only people you live in the house or flat. Do you agree with his words? Do you keep in touch with your relatives? How often do you visit them or meet with them?



2.5 You know that it is very difficult to be a parent. It’s a great responsibility to bring up children especially nowadays. Sometimes we can see that parents became too young people who are still children themselves. And now I have a question for everybody. Please think a bit. At what age can people become parents? (вопрос на доске) How do you think? (pupil’s answers)


Let’s watch the video and listen to the psychologist who’ll speak about the problems of young parents. (Video 2 min) The summary of this article will help you to understand the video.

Do you agree with the psychologist about the fact that parents of eighteen and twenty can have more problems with their children than parents of elder age? Please answer this question and you may use the phrases below the text.

And so we have discussed the urgent point today. “Relationships between children and parents. What is an ideal family?” now you know that it’s very difficult to be a good parent. Parenting isn’t something you learn at school or college. P





3. Home task:

write an essay about your future family as you see it and represent it next lesson. The volume should be 10-15 sent.
