Конспектурока с использованием групповой технологии в 9 классе.
по учебнику «Spotlight» для 9 класса общеобразовательных учреждений. Ваулина Ю.Е., Дули Д., Подоляко О.Е., Эванс В. М.: Просвещение, 2012.
Тема: « The power of music”.
Цель урока: Подготовить учащихся к монологическому высказыванию в устной и письменной форме на основе прочитанных текстов и плана.
Задачи:
- продолжить формирование умений осмысленного чтения текста;
- совершенствовать навыки монологической речи, чтения , аудирования и письма;
- актуализировать знания о влиянии музыки на людей;
-развивать умения выражать аргументированное отношение к поставленной проблеме; - развивать способность к критическому мышлению, обобщению и анализу.
Оборудование: Учебник «Spotlight 9», книга для учителя, , аудиоприложение CD, проектор, видеозаписи, карточки для учащихся с заданиями.
Организационный момент .
T: Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you. Sit down, please.
Today we shall talk, read about music and listen to some pieces of music.
Music is much more than a series of notes and rhythm. Music is a universal language. It can reach deep into human spirit. Music can change a mood in an instant. It can inspire creativity or take us the depths of despair.
Music can reduce stress and carry many health benefits. You can hear music everywhere: in concert halls, at school, at home, in the streets and other places.

T:Music is performed by different musical instruments. Let’s listen to them and watch the musical instruments.

T: Do you play any musical instruments? What musical instrument do you play? If you don’t play, what musical instrument would you like to play and why?

Different musical instruments create different types of music. (слайд 2). Match the types of music with their definitions. (Дети получают конверты с заданиями по группам )
Types of music:
1 группа
Blues a type of slow and sad music that developed from the songs of black slaves in the southern US .
folk music traditional music from a particular country, region, or community, especially music developed by people who were not professional musicians.
rock ’n’ roll a type of music that was popular in the 1950s and combined simple blues structures played on guitars with strong regular beats.
heavy metal a type of loud rock music that developed in the 1970s, played on drums and electric guitars
classical music music written according to standard European forms or structures by people such as Mozart and Beethoven.
2 группа
Rap a musical style where the singer speaks or shouts the words.
jazz a type of music that developed in the late 19th century in which there is a strong lively beat and the players often improvise (=make up the music as they play.
electro a type of African-American electronic music that developed in the 1980s and often includes rap.
rock music a type of music that developed from rock ’n’ roll and uses a heavy regular beat, electric guitars, singing, and a tune that is easy to remember.
pop music a type of music, usually played on electronic instruments, that is popular with many people because it consists of short songs with a strong beat and simple tunes that are easy to remember. This music is often simply called pop.
3 группа
country music a type of popular music based on the traditional music of the southern US, usually containing singing, guitars, and violins.
hip hop a type of music that developed among African-American musicians using rap and samples (=short pieces of recorded music or sound) that are repeated and combined with musical instruments.
reggae a type of music that developed in Jamaica in the 1960s with songs about social and political subjects and heavy bass sounds.
an opera is a dramatic work which blends elements of theater, dance and music.
soul music a type of African-American music that developed in the 1960s, combining r & b with pop, rock ’n’ roll, and gospel styles. Soul music usually has a strong beat and places emphasis on singing. It is often simply called soul.

3 T: There is an English website on the Internet, where you can find the answers to different teens' questions .It is called UK. answers. yahoo. com. I took some stories about teens’ opinions about music. You should read them and answer the main question of our lesson:
Has music a great power? Why?
Choose the facts, explain the reasons and make a conclusion.
Conclusion:1) Music is an extremely effective stress management tool
2)Music is means of education .
