Тема: Проблемы на отдыхе
Цель урока: Создание условий для формирования иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции по теме
Задачи:
Развитие умений в 4 видах речевой деятельности: чтение, аудирование, говорение, письмо
Развивать способности вступать в иноязычное общение
Развивать способности логичного изложения мыслей
Развитие умений аудирования, понимания на слух основного содержания несложных звучащих текстов монологического характера в рамках изученной темы;
развития умений в чтении, понимание основного содержания текста;
умение работать в парах; умение вести диалог;
«Воспитывать умение общаться с одноклассниками
Оборудование и материалы для урока: доска, учебник
Планируемые результаты обучения:
Личностные:
формирование потребности в практическом использовании английского языка,
осознание своих способностей, развития познавательного интереса,
стремление выполнять значимые действия

План урока
Greetings
-Hello, children!
-How are you?
-I think you are well.
Do you like travel?
Where do you usually go travelling?
Did you like it?
Did you happen something bad or wrong with you?
Now I want you to look at the blackboard. There are some pictures on it. How do you think, what is it?
Ss answers: I think these peoples in unusual situation.
May be had happened something bad with these people.
What do you think we are going to talk about at our lesson
Ss : we are going to talk about holiday problems
On the blackboard some phrases. (describing pictures/activating vocabulary):
Read with Ss the phrases in the rubric and elicit meanings
Check for understanding
Let’s read and give the translation of these phrases:
Lose passport-потерять паспорт
Luggage/wallet gets stolen –потерять багаж
Get sunstroke – получить солнечный удар
Miss their flight – пропустить самолет
Car breaks down – сломалась машина
Get seasick – заболеть морскую болезнь
Have a flat tyre – спущенная шина
Lose the way – сбиться с пути
Have an accident – несчастный случай
Weather gets bad – погода ухудшилась
T: Task is: describe the pictures, using the phrases
e.g. Picture C shows two people by the the sea. They are sitting on sun loungers but it is raining. It seems that/ looks like the weather has got bad. They seem to be very unhappy
Ss answers:
Picture B shows someone running after a plane. It seems that/looks as if he has missed his flight. Ye seems to be in a panic.
Picture A shows two people in front of the car. One is looking at the car engine. It seems that/it looks as if their car has broken down. They seem to be very angry.
Picture D shows someone looking at the signpost with a map in his hand. It seems that/looks like he has lost his way.
Now I want you to listen the people. Which problem or problems is/are each describing.
Ss answers: Ann-the weather getting bad
Laura – getting sunstroke
Tony – car breaking down
Look at the phrases in the box. These are describing a bad expression and sympathizing. Give the Russian equivalents. Make up dialogue use these expressions. (role playing)

What till I tell you what happened.
Oh, you poor thing!

A: How was your holiday? Did you have a nice time?
B: You’ll never guess what happened?
A: What’s wrong with you?
B:I missed my flight home and sped 2 days at the airport.
Oh! That’s terrible!
Listening.
Now listen the dialogue about Isabelle, who went backpacking across Europe last summer. Which countries did she visit? Listen and say.
Ss : Isabelle visited Greece, Italy and Span.
Open the book on page 92, Ex.5a
Read the dialogue and write down good and bad experiences of travelling
and fill in the table

Italy- got seasick on the ferry on the way
Got purse stolen in Barcelona while waiting for a bus
Look at the blackboard. There are 4 people here. Use the ideas say how each person feels:
Relieved/someone find her purse
Frustrated/his luggage be stolen
Delighted/have very big room with wonderful view
Confused/lady at check-in desk can’t find his reservation
Ss: Laura is delighted because she has a very big room with a wonderful view.
9.Role-playing.
In pairs act out the dialogue about a holiday that went wrong. Use the phrases from the ex.1 and the dialogue in ex.5
