в 5 классе
«HEALTHY WAYS»

Цель урока: актуализация и развитие знаний учащихся о здоровье и здоровом образе жизни.
Задачи:
Обучающие:
активизация лексики по теме;
практика речевой деятельности;
Развивающие:
развитие коммуникативных навыков.
Воспитательные:
Воспитание у учащихся интереса к здоровому образу жизни, отказа от вредных привычек.
Практические:
создание ситуаций применения полученных знаний и навыков в жизненных условиях;
формирование активности в решении жизненных проблем и задач, связанных с ведением здорового образа жизни.
Оборудование и оснащение урока: презентация, компьютер, проектор, цветы из бумаги.
Ходурока:
I. Определение темы урока.
T. Good morning, children. How are you today? If you are fine, show me red flowers. If you feel bad, show me blue flowers. I see all the pupils are all right today. I hope you will be active at the lesson. And now please, stand up. I want you to touch your hands, look at each other and smile. What are you feeling? Are you feeling warmth? What would you like to wish each other?
Pupils. (A lot of money, new friends, health, love, happiness, success in learning English, …)
T. And what do you think is more important for people?
P. I think it is health.
T. I fully agree with you. Health is the most important thing for us. There are a lot of proverbs about health: “Health is above wealth.” “He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything.” When a person is healthy, he can live an interesting life. Health is the theme of today’s discussion.
II. Постановка проблем и нахождение способов их решения.
T. Our health depends on several factors. What are the most important of them?

P. You must eat …
T. 2. What is physical activity?
Pupils. Every person must do sports. A little exercise every day will keep you fit. Swimming, skating or skiing give us a lot of exercise. It helps to feel healthy and cheerful after a hard day at school or at work.
Cycling is useful too.
If you go in for sports, you are in a good mood and don’t catch colds. It makes you strong and fast.
Sport builds character.
T. 3. What good (bad) habits do you know?

Pupils. You must have breakfast, dinner and supper.
You must go to bed early. You must get up early. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise.
You must clean your teeth in the morning and in the evening.
You must walk before sleep.

You must not use drugs.
You must not eat a lot.
You must not eat late at night.
You must not spend a lot of time in front of TV and computer.

T. 4. Keeping fit doesn’t only mean physical exercises and healthy eating habits. It is also very important to avoid stress. How can we avoid it?
P. Rule one. Laugh often. It is very good for your health.
T. Of all the animals only we humans can laugh. We laugh when we react to something funny or pleasant. When we laugh so many parts of our body take part and exercise: the face, the arms, the legs and the chest. Ancient people said "Laughter is the best medicine." Scientists proved that laughter helps to cure illnesses.
P. Rule two. Sleep well. Most of us need seven or eight hours of sleep.
T. When somebody says he has been sleeping less than a couple of hours for a week, pity him. If you stay awake for a week, you will get hallucinations and after doctors cure you of them — you will have a long lasting depression. So try not to sleep less than you need.
P. Rule three. Have a hobby. Hobbies make us feel sociable, busy, interested and happy. T. The best pastime surely is the one when we have to exercise. If gardening or keeping a dog is not for you, grow cactuses, buy an aquarium, play the guitar or collect postcards — get pleasure from anything but food. Many people open their fridges not out of hunger but because they just have nothing to do!
T. Nowadays a lot of people have health problems. They feel bad after hard working day. Try to help them. Give them some advice.

V. Рефлексия.
T. Children, you see a vase on the blackboard. At the beginning of our lesson I gave you red and blue flowers. If you liked the lesson and learnt something new, then put red flowers on it. If you didn’t like the lesson, then put blue flowers on it. As for me I enjoyed your answers. I hope our discussion was very useful for everybody.
