How to help the environment?

Environment is the natural habitat that surrounds us everywhere. Over the last decades people have built so many harmful factories that environment started to suffer. Some environmental problems are really urgent in modern society. The problems we are facing air pollution, water pollution, global warming, nuclear pollution, the disappearance of certain animal species, etc.

There are numerous reasons for such vast pollution of the surrounding environment on our planet. First of all, today there are so many petrol-driven cars in the streets. In search of newer and newer inventions people have completely forgotten that natural resources are limited. We can’t continue exhaling harmful gases into the atmosphere.

Such human behavior leads not only to air pollution but also to global warming. This problem really touches all countries in the world and is considered to be global. We have never had such warm winters before. Besides, the glaciers are melting. It is one of the most serious problems in the modern world. Some scientists state that global warming is the result of industrial revolution.

Other urgent problems include water pollution and waste of certain natural resources. Water pollution is mostly the result of factory wastes. If we had reasonably treated such natural resources as water, forest, soil, our planet would be in a better shape today. Unfortunately, not everyone cares about nature and many people think that natural resources will never end.

How to help environment?

All the time this question is brought up in news, you speak about it and probably also read. Everyone can bring the contribution in preservation of the planet and is better care for environment. Our simple, but effective instructions will help you to make it.

Steps:

1. Learn a little more about environment and natural systems of Earth that know what occurs around you. Information and a set of useful tips can be found in the Internet and books. Look for truthful material, factual, but not on someone's personal opinion.

2. Change trifles which you do in everyday life. Small things can change a lot of things. Of course, you don't need to throw everything that you love and what have got used to. Esteem about things which you can replace with those that use less energy or resources; so you will be able to reduce harm which you do, without special damage to your way of life.

3. Take care of ecology in the bathroom:

Switch off the crane when you brush teeth.

Take the fast refreshing shower instead of spending water for bathtubs. Think that all this water goes down in the sewerage, and water which is gathered in 1 bathtub it is enough in order that 3 times to take shower, and it same useful, as well as acceptance of a bathtub.

4. Think of saving the electric power:

Always, when you leave the room, turn off the light even if you are going to return in a few minutes. It saves the electric power and fossil types of fuel which can't be replaced. Fluorescent (fluorescent lamps) or LED lighting saves energy, than glow lamps more.

If you want to write a note, use a scrap of brown paper. Don't forget to reduce waste, to reuse materials and to process them:

Reduce quantity of waste, use things more once and give things to others if you don't want to use them any more. You don't go shopping every weekend or when you have an opportunity (you can reduce quantity of garbage from packings, shopping not more often than 2 times a month).

Reuse things which can use more once instead of at once to throw out them. When you go to shop, take packages or bags from the house. You can also give things which aren't necessary to you any more, to charitable shops or to use such materials as cards and notes, in needlework.

Process more materials. Paper, a cardboard and cards it is possible to remake in something new. Bring together them separately and throw out in a ballot box for paper processing if she is in your city. Who knows, perhaps, these old and rumpled pieces of paper in two weeks will turn into a brand new notebook! Think how many new materials are used for production of new things, and all of you will understand.

Throw out organic waste in the garden instead of with other garbage to send them to a dump or burning. You will return to environment that have taken from it, and also you will add to the earth at themselves in a garden fertilizer.

Advice:

• Don't throw out garbage (especially paper) on the street.
• Don't use transport if you can reach the right place on foot in 15-20 minutes.
• You don't litter. In spite of the fact that it can seem a small problem, banks from drinks or cellophane packages can do harm to animals or even to kill them. If you see garbage on the earth, treat extremely carefully environment, having lifted and having thrown out it in a ballot box.

• At an opportunity reach school or for work on foot or use public transport.
• Visit charitable shops. You will find tremendous things at the remarkable prices there.
• Try to avoid harmful goods, for example, of the packed-up or processed food. The majority of them harmful to your health, and eating useful products, you can also help environment.
• Organize community work days at school.
