  План – конспект открытого урока английского языка  в 6 классе
            «Достопримечательности Лондона.»
                                                 Учитель: Жунусбекова Ж.З.
 Цель:  обобщить и расширить представление учащихся о величайших  достопримечательностях  Лондона средствами  английского языка.
Задачи: 

1.      Развивать навыки устной речи на основе информации о Лондоне. 

2.      Активизировать лексические навыки по данной тематике.

3.      Практиковать в чтении с целью извлечения  информации из текста  и практиковать в детальном чтении.

4.      Развивать языковую догадку на основе незнакомых слов.

5.      Формировать познавательный  интерес к  стране изучаемого языка.

Оснащение:   Запись на доске названий достопримечательностей в транскрипции, презентация и видео по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона» 
                                             Ход урока.

I. Организационный момент.

1) Приветствие учителя.
  Good morning, girls and boys! Nice to meet you! How are you? I’m fine too.

2) Проверка готовности учащихся к уроку.
  Are you ready for the lesson? Very nice.
Today we shall  have an unusual lesson. 

Please, be very attentive.                                                                      

 3) Постановка проблемы.

 II.Основная часть.

 1)Фонетическая отработка новых слов.

  Учитель читает названия достопримечательностей по транскрипции  с доски. Учащиеся повторяют хором.

 Buckingham Palace  is the London  home of the Queen. When the flag is flying on the top she is at home. There  are 600 rooms in Buckingham Palace . It has an indoor swimming pool and a cinema. Changing of the Guard happens every day at 11 a.m.
Trafalgar Square is the  popular place for people to meet. In the middle of the square there is Nelson's Column, which is 51 m high .

National Gallery. It has  a fine collection of European paintings.
Hamleys is the biggest toy shop in London. There are six floors with millions of toys.
London is situated on the river Thames. It is very deep and   beautiful. You can see the Tower of London from the river Thames.
 Tower Bridge is one of the oldest bridges in   London. It is over a hundred years old.
Hyde Park is the  famous park in London.  Londoners can walk in the park, eat their sandwiches, talk, sunbathe, read books and enjoy music.

The Tower of London is a very big castle. It is a very old place in London. It was a fortress, a royal palace, later a prison.   It is a museum now.

  6.Развитие навыков чтения. «Places of Interest in London»

There are a lot of places of interest in London. Among them there are: Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, the Tower of London.

London stands on the river Thames. On the bank of the Thames, not far from the Tower of London, you can see Westminster Palace, or the Houses of Parliament. In one of its towers there is famous Big Ben, the largest clock of England. It strikes every quarter of an hour.

Buckingham Palace is the Queen’s official London residence. Tourists always go to see the ceremony of changing the Guard there.

London has many fine squares. Trafalgar Square is the central square of the city.

St Paul’s Cathedral is the biggest English church. Another famous church is Westminster Abbey where kings, queens, and many famous people are buried.

London is also famous for its beautiful parks. Hyde Park is the most democratic park in the world.

London's largest and most famous cathedral, built by Sir Christopher Wren. (St. Paul's Cathedral)

They stand beside the river Thames. You can also see them from Westminster Abbey. The country's leaders speak at this place. The famous clock Big Ben stands near them. (The Houses of Parliament)

London residence of the Queen, the principal seat of the monarchy. (Buckingham Palace)

It is not far from the Houses of Parliament. It is a symbol of England. Some famous people are buried there. (Westminster Abbey)
