Around the world

T: Today our lesson is devoted to a very interesting theam “Around the world”. The aim of the lesson is to practice your vocabulary related to the topics “ Travelling and Rest” , “ Airports”, to speak about leisure and aviation.

We’ll revise :

- Present tenses

- Future Simple

- The construction “ would like to + infinitive

- prepositions

- articles with geographical names.

We know a lot of words on the topic “ Travelling”. But can you write them? Please, look at the blackboard and find the mistakes in the following words

P: The pack their things! T: Of course! What things will you put in your suitcases? Who knows more words? Auction. P: Camera, headphones, wallet, mirror, currency, towel, sunglasses, toothpaste, toothbrush, swimming-suit… T: O.K! Let’s go to the airport!

My trip to Dubai.

Recently, my family and me came back from Dubai. Where we spent 10 wonderful days ... We will remember them forever.

Dubai is a very beautiful, interesting city.

It is the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Its height is 828 meters. It has 163 floors. It was opened in January 4, 2010.

The most modernized Metro in the world

Electric subway trains operate in a fully automatic mode (without driver). Metro was opened in September 9, 2009. there are two branches in the metro: red and green. Dubai Metro is the longest and the most attractive in the world. The length of two branches is 74.7 km. Average speed is 110 km / h.

What is Portugal ?

Portugal-is a country located in the Southwestern Europe

The country is named after its second largest city, Porto, which Latin name was Portus Cale

Capital city and other things.

Lisbon is the capital city and the largest city of Portugal. In this town travallers can see such things as:
1) The Belém National Palace .
The President of Portugal lives
here
2)Old lighthouses.
3)And other pretty things.
