The Aim: 1.Educational: to enrich students’ knowledge about education in Britain and in American schools.  2.Developing: to teach the pupils studying the new words, find new information while reading the texts and exercises.  3.Bringing-up: to bring the students up to get more choice in choosing schools, friendship between the teenagers and help each other in study. The Type: Cognitive lesson Teaching methods: Game ”Brain –ring” Visual Aids: Interactive board, posters and cards .

The Aim:

3. Brain-ring” It’s time for the starting our game “Today 3 teams of your class show their knowledge .  The game will be consisted of 4 Rounds.  1 st Round: The contest of captains.  a) What is the English for “ “ ? (10points)  educational system secondary school  a school uniform primary education  junior school a reception class  headmaster certificate  boarding school kindergarten  b) Answer the questions.  The educational system in Kazakhstan is represented by three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English), isn’t it?  Is the education in Kazakhstan free?  What do the education system in Kazakhstan consist of? (Kindergarten, Primary school, Secondary school and Single National test)

2 nd Round: “Knowledge Battle”. It’s a competition work between three teams.  a) Read the text “Traditional British school” on page 123. (each sentence -2 points)  b) Pair work in a team. (10 points)  Read the text” Alternative American school” on p.124 insight paying attention to some new words, expressions and underline phrasal verbs, then give their translation. Example: a lovely old house- ғажайып ескі үй   to look up -іздеу  3 rd Round: “Who is the best ?”  Complete the table. (each correct answer -5 points)
