In this lesson children practise vegetables vocabulary with flashcards and games. They play an action game.

Teacher: Let`s sing our favorite song “good morning”.
Check homework: (5 minutes)
to check their colored pictures, point to the flashcards with the animals one by one and ask: what`s this? what`s this?
After that I introduce the pupils the aims of the lesson
Teacher: - We’ll talk about vegetables. We should eat the vegetables every day, they are very useful for us. Do you like vegetables?

Teacher:- I like too.
Warm up: (2 minutes) teacher plays the laptop. asks the pupils to listen to the following song “the finger carrot family” let`s sing it all together.
Teacher: Enjoy the new fruit finger family song - Carrot finger family.
Father finger, father finger, where are you? Here I am, here I am. How do you do?
Mommy finger, Mommy finger, where are you? Here I am, here I am. How do you do?
Brother finger, Brother finger, where are you? Here I am, here I am. How do you do?

Activity1 ( 2minutes)
Objectives:to introduce the new vocabulary; to practise the pronunciation of the sounds [ae], [ə] and [ə].
The individual flashcards of vegetables (tomato, onion, potato, carrot, cabbage, eggplant) on the board in two rows each vegetables has a number above it.
Have the pupils repeat both the phrases and vegetables separately in chorus and individually, especially the sound [ae] in the words “carrot” and “cabbage” and the sounds [ə] and [əu] in the words “tomato” and “potato”.
What is number 1? It`s a tomato.
What is number 2? It`s an onion.
What is number 3? It`s a potato.
What is number 4? it`s a carrot.
What is number 5? It`s a cabbage.
What is number 6? It`s an eggplant.
Activity 2 (5 minutes)
Objective:to learn the new vocabulary and structure “this is a ……”
Pupils will be able to tell colors of vegetables.

I have prepared some vegetables for you in this box. You should take out one vegetable and name it, are you ready.

Activity 3 (2 minutes )
Objectives:to introduce the numbers 11 and 12
At first, you are recommended to revise the numbers 1-10 in the same way as you did in earlier units. Then ask the pupils to look at the pictures in Activity 4 and count in the mother tongue how many cabbages the goat has. After getting the right answer “11”, ask how many carrots the hare has. The pupils should answer 12. After that, have the pupils practise the pronunciation of the numbers 11 and 12 after you in chorus and individually. Activity 4 (2 minutes)
Objective: to recycle the numbers, to introduce the numbers 11 and 12
Teacher: Let`s name these numbers, which numbers are missed?
Numbers from 1to 12 are written on the blackboard, pupils must name 4 and 9 and 11. 1-2-3-?-5-6-7-8-?-10-?-12.
Activity 5 (5 minutes)
Objectives:pupils will be able to tell about the numbers of vegetables and tell what they themselves and their friends
have, stress sound “s” at the and of the plural words, use expressions such as:

She/he has ………
Teacher:I want you to make up some sentences with vegetables in plural form.
Teacher says some word combinations with vegetables in plural to help pupils to make their own sentences up.
Example: One carrot - three carrots
Teacher call out some pupils who go to the board and make sentences with pictures using have/has
Example: pupil 1-“I have got 5 pumpkins”
Pupil 2- she /he has 5 pumpkins and I have …….etc.
Consolidation:
Activity 6 (6 minutes)
Objectives:to consolidate the new vocabulary, and they tell what they likes.
Teacher: Are not you bored? Let`s play one game boys vs girls I need one boy and one girl stand back to back take this picture after three show pictures to your partner, who will say the word the first is the winner.
Activity 7 (2 minutes)
Objectives:to consolidate the new vocabulary, I work all the pupils in the group.
Teacher: Now I'm going to say a word, and when you hear the name of a vegetable clap your hands : pen, desk, cucumber, school, cabbage, doll, brother, carrot, girl, onion, seven, tomato, mother, sister, pencil, pumpkin, cat, dog, ball, eggplant, kite, potato, bag, yellow, tomato.

Activity 8 ( 5 minutes)
Objectives:to check pupils creativity. Pupils work in pairs
Teacher: There are some envelopes in front of you, to make a mosaic by combining parts into the whole and to tell what they hid
