Aim: совершенствование языковой компетенции посредством монологической и диалогической речи, уметь использовать новый лексический материал в разговорной речи, уметь рассказывать о вкусовых преподчтениях кого — либо, а также уметь говорить о своей любимой еде, используя грамматическую конструкцию like/ don't like.
Objectives:
- educationl: формирование правильного произношения нового лексического материала, уметь работать с текстом, уметь рассказывать о любимой еде персонажа Бобби, уметь говорить о том, какая еда нравится, уметь задавать вопрос о любимой еде, используя конструкцию like/ don't like.
- developmental: развитие разговорной речи посредством монолога и диалога, развитие критического мышления посредством работы с кластером, развитие аналитического мышления посредством работы с текстом, развитие слухового восприятия речи посредством аудирования и диалога.
- educative: прививать интерес к изучаемому языку, прививать умение работать в группе и в паре, формирование сознательной дисциплины, формирование личности, способной к творческой деятельности.

II. Brainstorming:
- So, as I told you, today we have unusual lesson. And first of all we have to determine the theme of the lesson. You should watch the video and tell the theme of our lesson.
- Students watch the video about food and determine the theme of the lesson.
Answer: the theme of the lesson is food.
- You are right! Well done! We are going to talk about food and today we have a journey to the county Foodland and let's greet our friend, who will travel with us! His name is Bobby. He will help us!
- Students: Hi Bobby!
- Ok, what do you think about the objectives of the lesson? What are we going to do in your opinion?
Answer:
1. To learn the new words;
2. To work with the text;
3. To speak about our favourite food. (like/ don't like).
- For our work today we have to be divided into three groups:
- You have to take your tickets and train (1st group – red train; 2nd group – green train, third group – blue train).
III. Warming-up:
- The first station is tongue twister:
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream!
- I will read at once.
- Then students have to repeat after me.
- I will read it quickly.
- Some of students will read it as quicklier as they can.
- Very good! Please tell me, what kind of food is told in this tongue twister about?
Answer: about ice-cream
IV. Presentation of new material:
- You are right! It is ice cream. Do you want to know new words about food?
- I show slides with new words and students repeat after me.
- Then they have to open their CB and listen and point.
- Then they have to listen and repeat after the recorder.
V. Consolidation of the new material:
- Station 3. If you remember the new words, we will play one interesting game!

Good afternoon dear pupils! My name is Bobby! I eat similar food every day. It is usually very simple. In the morning I usually have some tea with cheese sandwiches. I like cheese sandwiches and fruits. But I don't like porridge. (1 группа)
I usually have lunch at school. It's juice or milkshake and some fruits. For dinner I like fries and salad. But I don't like vegetable soup. (2 группа)
For supper we usually have different kinds of dishes. I like chicken or pizza. But I don't like mushrooms. (3 группа). What do you like eating?
- Students read the text aloud and listen to each other very attentively.
Station 5. Физминутка.
- I think you are tired and we should relax.
- Stand uo and let's do some exercises.
- Pupils watch the videa and do exercises.
Station 6.
- Let's continue to work with the text.

- Children read the sentences and correct them if it is necessary.

Station 7. Make a cluster:
- Your next task is a cluster.
- You have to find and stick the pictures with food: for the 1st group about breakfast of Bobby, the 2nd group about Bobby's supper, for the 3rd group abput Bobby's dinner and you have to retell the information and also tell what food Bobby liked and what food Bobby didn't like. You have just 3 minutes.
- Children make a cluster and prepare the presentation of their clusters and retelling the text.
Station 8.
- Well done! Great work. So, my congratulations! We arrive to our country Foodland!
- It is guard! He wants to know about your favourite food! One pair from each group.
- You have to make a dialogue with using new words and phrases:
- Do you like …?
- Yes, I do/ No, I don't.
- Students make a dialogue and present them.
