Цели и задачи урока:

1. Знакомство с традициями Великобритании.

2. Отработка новой лексики по теме Рождество.

3. Отработка навыков говорения, аудирования, чтения и письма.

4. Повышение качества успеваемости.

Оборудование:

1. Карточки (tongue twisters).

2. Карточки с новой лексикой.

3. Текст песни JINGLE BELLS.

4. Плакат-елка (на которую приклеиваются украшения-шарики).

5. Бумажные украшения-шарики (для украшения елки и оценки участников, цвет каждого шарика соответствует цвету команды).

6. Кроссворд на плакате.

Ход урока:

• Организационный момент.

Today we are going to have some fun!

Let’s start.

We have 5 teams: yellow, orange, red, blue, purple.

You must pronounce it better than other teams.

Now I want to tell you a Christmas story, the story of Jesus Christ.

Mary and Joseph were Christ’s parents. They went to Bethlehem. Their way was dangerous and very long. It was getting darker and darker when they looked for a shelter. Suddenly Mary saw a cave.

“Let’s spend a night here.” She said to her husband.

And there she gave a birth to Jesus Christ.

Many stars appeared in the sky when he was born but among them there was the biggest and the brightest star that showed the way to his place of birth.
