Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку «Рождество в англоязычных странах» в 7 классах

Цели мероприятия:

Практическая: активизация речевых умений учащихся.

Развивающая: развитие мотивации учащихся к языку и странам изучаемого языка.

Образовательная: накопление знаний о праздновании Рождества в англоязычных странах.

Воспитательная: воспитание уважения к культуре, традициям и истории стран изучаемого языка.

Задачи урока:

• Совершенствовать навыки устной и письменной речи на английском языке;

• Развивать способности восприятия английской речи на слух;

• Развивать творческий потенциал учащихся, их умение работать в группе;

• Формировать лексические навыки в рамках заданной темы.

Оборудование:

• компьютер;

• проектор;

• карточки со словами для заданий;

• цветные карандаши и фломастеры;

• призы.

Сценарий мероприятия:

Мероприятие начинается с разделения учащихся на 3 команды, присвоения им названий и выбора капитанов. Учащиеся занимают свои места.

Dear pupils,

We are glad to see you here at our Christmas celebration. Today is Christmas Eve, the day before Christmas. We will start celebrating this holiday with lots of fun and laughter!

Our pupils will help us to remember the history and the customs of Christmas by showing a presentation.

OK. Now we have our teams. There will be some tasks for you this afternoon. For every task, you will get your points. At the end of the event, we will count them and find out the winner.

The first task is a quiz. You have to answer questions about Christmas. The first student who gives the right answer gets a point for his or her team.

One of the symbols of Christmas season is the song Jingle bells. Let’s see how well you know this song. First, we will listen to it. After that we will sing this song together.

Before we get to the end of our afternoon we would like you to receive some small presents from Santa. Here is the stocking with souvenirs. Before taking your small present out of the stocking you have to feel it and guess what it is.
