Russia is the largest continent - Eurasia. Russia is the largest country in the world. Its area is about 17 million square kilometers. On the map of Russia a lot of blue. This sea, rivers and lakes. The population of Russia, according to recent reports, approximately 132 million people.

Russians make up the majority of the population. Besides the Russians have other people: Komi, Bashkirs, Nogais,Kabardian, Tatars, Chuvashes, Mordvinians,Udmurts,Yakuts,Buryats,Chukchi, Koryaks, Evenki and many others.

Th e Russian border pass by land and by water. Russia borders with other countries: Finland, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China. Russia is washed by 11 seas: the Baltic, Barents, Kara, Laptev Sea, East Siberian, Chukchi, Bering, Okhotsk, Japan, the Caspian, the Black sea.

Moscow - capital of Russia. The capital city is the main city of the state. The symbol of the capital city of Moscow is the Kremlin.
