При этом учащиеся участвовали во всех этапах подготовки концерта или спектакля – распределение ролей, выбор костюмов, изготовление декораций – все это способствовало глубокому погружению в языковую среду

Театр – как средство обучения И.Я.
Одним из признаков коммуникативного метода обучения являются - дифференцированность, т.е. использования любых средств для достижения определённойцели. Такой целью может быть любой вид речевой деятельности, точнее, умение совершать этот вид деятельности, например говорение. К сожалению, в процессе развитие этого вида речевой деятельности, учащиеся на начальном этапе испытывают большие трудности.
Учитывая тот факт, что на начальном этапе обучения заинтересованность детей в предмете играет особую роль, мы пыталась найти решение этой проблемы с помощью различных постановок на английском языке, это мог быть концерт, посвященный определенной дате, или инсценировки различных сказок. При этом учащиеся участвовали во всех этапах подготовки концерта или спектакля – распределение ролей, выбор костюмов, изготовление декораций – все это способствовало глубокому погружению в языковую среду, т.к. учителя старались общаться с учащимися исключительно на А.Я.
Следующим этапом нашей работы является театрализованная постановка на английском языке «История Рождества».
В результате работы над постановкой (т.е. работы над одним из видов речевой деятельности - говорение) у учащихся формируется:
а) образ иной культуры;
б) расширяется общий кругозор;
в) воспитывается интерес к А.Я. как к средству общения;
г) развиваются творческие способности каждого ребенка;
д) развиваются способности детей к диалогу и сотрудничеству на основе
общих интересов и творчкеской мотивации.

Актуальность:
Развитие навыка говорения на иностранном языке.
Этот процесс предоставляет учащимся возможность улучшить свои навыки, снимается стресс, испытываемый при коммуникации с представителями других культур, что способствует развитию толерантности, которая является важным аспектом нашей жизни.
Цель:
Целью данной работы является постановка спектакля, в процессе работы над которым дети глубже проникают в культуру другой страны.
Задачи:
Развитие толерантности;
Развитие навыков чтения и говорения;
Развитие таких эмоций, как умение понимать чужую беду и приходить на помощь;
Расширение лексики.
Проблема:
Дети мало читают художественную литературу;
Плохо знают культуру и историю других стран;
Испытывают недостаток в общении;
Не умеют работать в коллективе.
Этапы работы:
Подготовительный этап:
а) Прочтение учащимися 6-х классов в различных источниках об истории «Рождества», просмотр художественных и анимационных фильмов о «Рождестве» на английском языке;
б) Написание сценария;
в) Организация детей по группам:
артисты;
художники-декораторы;
костюмеры;
танцоры и музыканты.
П. Основной этап:
репетиции;
знакомство с костюмами, соответствующими эпохе, музыкой,
танцами древнего Рима (интернет-ресурсы);
отбор песен, посвященных этому событию;
подбор музыки и песен.
Ш. Заключительный этап:
Спектакль для учащихся 5-6 классов и учителей школы.
Сценарий к спектаклю «РОЖДЕСТВО»
Narrator :
There was once a girl called Mary who lived in a little town Nazareth. ['næzərəθ]
Mary was a happy girl. She was going to marry Joseph the carpenter, who lived in the same village. Mary had many friends for she was kind and helpful and everyone loved her.
But then it happened. One day she was alone at home. Suddenly the room was full of light and a beautiful angel was in front of her.
Angel:
“Don’t be afraid, Mary. God is pleased with you. You are going to have a baby boy and you must name Him Jesus. He will be a great king and one day he will rule over the whole world.”
Mary:
“How can I have a baby? I am not even married yet.”
Angel:
“He will be a special baby. God will be his father.”
A Child will come from heaven Aslove made manifest, [‘mænɪfest] That hearts which will receive Him May be forever blest.
Mary:
“I am ready for whatever God wants.”
Narrator :
Next day Joseph was working in his carpenter’s shop .
But soon it got too dark to work anymore. He lay down on his mattress [‘mætrəs] and fell asleep. And then it happened. Again the soft light and the voice of the angel with another message from God.
Angel:
“Don’t worry. Mary is going to have a baby boy. God will be his father. You must give him a special name. You must name him Jesus, because he is going to save his people from the sins.”
A Child will come from heaven
To bring the waiting earth
New hope and joy and meaning
By His incarnate birth [ɪn’kɑː(r)nət]
Narrator :
Joseph woke up. He felt happy Mary was a special girl and the new baby was to be very special.
Soldier:
“Emperor Augustus orders everyone to go to the town where he was born. He wants to count all people living in his country.”
Narrator :
Mary and Joseph who were now married had to travel a long way because Josephs was born in the little town of Bethlehem, which was far from Nazareth. [‘beθlɪəm]
Joseph:
” Look! I can see the little lights of Bethlehem. We won't be long now.
This way to the inn. Only a few minutes more Mary and you can lie down and rest ”
Joseph:
“Take heart the journey‘s ended”
I see the twinkle lights
Where we shall be befriended
On this the night of nights.”
Mary:
“ Now, praise the Lord that led us
So safe into the town
Where men will feed and bed us
And I can lie me down.”
Joseph knocked at the door:
“She is my wife. Her baby is about to be born. Please, or, please, find us a corner”.
Joseph:
“God save you, gentle master
Your littlest room indeed
With plainest walls of plaster
Tonight will serve our need.”
Innkeeper:
“Impossible! The place is full up. Can’t you see for yourselves.”
“For lord lings and for ladies. [lɪŋ]
I‘ve lodgings and to spare [lɒdʒɪŋs]
For you and yonder maid is [‘jɒndə(r)]
No closet anywhere. [‘klɒzɪt]
Mary:
“Joseph? We must find somewhere quickly. My baby may be born any moment.”
Joseph:
“Take heart, take heart sweet Mary
Another inn we spy
Whose host will not be chary?” [‘tʃeəri]
To let us easy lie.
Joseph:
“God save you, Hostess Kindly
I pray you house my wife
Who bears beside me blindly?
The burden of her life. ['bɜːdn]”
Hostess:
“ My quest sore rich men’s daughters
And sons I’d have you know
Seek out the poorer quarters
Where simple people go.”
Joseph:
“Good sir, my wife’s in labor, some corner let us keen.”
Hostess:
“Not, I. knock up my neighbor,
And as for me I’ll sleep.”
Mary:
“In all the lighted city
Where rich men welcome win
Will not one house for pity
Take two poor strangers in.”
Joseph:
“Good woman I implore you,
Afford my wife a bed.”
Hostess:
“Nay, nay I’ve nothing for you except the cattle shed.”
Mary:
“Then, gladly in the manger our bodies we will house, since men tonight are stranger than asses and cows.”
Joseph:
“Take heart, take heart sweet Mary,
The cattle are our friends,
Lie down, lie down sweet Mary
For here our journey ends.”
Mary:
Now praise the Lord that found me
This shelter in the town,
Where I with friend around me
May lay my burden down.
Joseph:
“ Only a few minutes more Mary and you can lie down and rest. There is an open door just ahead. We could go in there.”
(Josef lift his lantern and looked around.)
Narrator :
It was a stonecave and some caws where munching around a manger. But the air was warm. And there in that stable by lantern light God’s special baby was born.
“Away in a manger, [‘meɪndʒə(r)] no crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep in hay.
While shepherds watched their flocks by night,
All seated on the ground.
The angel of the Lord came down.
And glory shone around.
Angel:
"Fear not," said he (for mighty dread Had seized [si:z ] their troubled mind);
"Glad tidings of great joy I bringм [‘taɪdɪŋz]
To you and all mankind.
A Child will come from heaven
To lead where He has trod
The path of truth and righteousness
That keeps man close to God
You will find him wrapped cloth and lying in a manger.

A gold star burns
Lighting our way
As the great world turns
Silver the frost
It shines on the stem
As we now journey
To Bethlehem
White is the ice At our feet as we trot
Pointing there a path to the manger-bed.

The wise men saw the star in the East.
Wise man 1:
The new king is born let's go and see him. Let's bring him gifts.
There were the wise men who journeyed afar
To follow the rays of a brilliant white star.
Onward, ever onward, it led toward the East
Impelling the way, of both men and beast
Wise man 2:
They quickened their camels to the yard of the inn Where it led to the stable without pomp or din, Lying so sweetly in the manger of hay Was the little Christ Child, in a simple array.
Wise man 3:
King Gaspar bowed low, offering three bags of gold. King Melchior lit incense in fragrance untold. King Balthazar's rare gift was a vessel of myrrh (A look of perception came quickly from her.

Narrator:
The wise men followed the star. They stopped near the place where the Jesus was born and gave him gifts.
They gave him gold, frankincense myrrh. That was the first Christmas.
Today people give each other gifts of Christmas.
They remember the gifts that the wise men gave to the baby Jesus
