Открытый урок по теме «The role of TV.».

Цели урока:

-развитие иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции,

-совершенствование коммуникативных умений в четырех видах речевой деятельности

-развитие навыков оперировании языковыми единицами в коммуникативных целях

-развитие навыков проектной деятельности

-увеличение объёма знаний о роли телевидения в современной жизни ,его достоинствах и недостатках

-формирование умений выделять общее и специфическое в культуре родной страны и страны изучаемого языка , воспитывать уважение культуре других стран.

Ход урока

-Good morning, dear! Glad to see you. I hope, everybody is all right. How are you? Let’s make our lesson interesting and useful.

Слайд 1. It’s Better to see Than To Hear.

-So, you can see a proverb wich expresses the theme of the lesson. What is it about ? (мнение детей)

I think,…

I’m sure...

-Thank for your opinions. The proverb is about the role of TV.

-But is the topic important? Why?

-Summing up yours answers , we can underline that the opinions are different.

-Some of you sure ,…

-The others think, that..

-So, what is the main task of the lesson? (мнение детей).

Cлайд 2.

-The main task is to answer the question of TV is important or no. Why ?

-But what should we do to answer this question?

-discuss advantage and disadvantages of TV.

-speak about the importance of local TV.

-describe your favourite programs ( if you have them)

-make a cluster on the program you prefer.

Раздать тексты

Задание:

- Read the text in pairs and find out advantages and disadvantage of TV.

Group 1- underline advantages

Group 2-underline disadvantage.

-Can you add some more positive sides of TV?

- escape from every day

- keeps you a life company

- it is easier than reading

-helps travel all over the world

-helps learn about different people, customs, traditions.

-if you are « a couch potato» ,you have no time for another useful thing

-So, what is the main idea of the text?

- Oh , dear. You know for sure , that we have a local TV «Частые острова».Some people think that it’s very important, it’s not so useful.

Слайд 5. It’s local TV important or not? Why do you think so?

-TV offers us a lot of programs ? To see or not to see? That is a questions.

If, we want to see this or that program, we should know what it’s about? Agree?

Слайд 6 «What is what?»

Change your partner and give the definition of the words

( меняются местами)

1…..gives information about goods

2…about real historical, political, economical events

3….giving information about sport

4…where people discuss different problems

5…about modern music, singers

6…giving information about weather for…

7…with questions on different subjects

I am sure ,everybody has his/ her favourite programs.

Сhoose the TV programs from the list in order of their importance for you, and tell us about it.

-You can see that some programs are educational and some- entertaing

-Let’s find someone who prefers this or that program.

-And now ,I prefer educational program.Welcome to this table, if you enjoy entertaining ones, take your seat at that one.

На столы: ватман+ фломастеры , кластеры.

Слайд 8 (схема кластера)

Создание продукта , защита.

-So, it’s high time to make a conclusion.

-Have you changed your opinion about TV? What can you say?

Слайд 9.( зачитать)

Читают ученики.

Домашняя задания: Сочинение –любое средство массовой информации.
