Theme: “Wildlife of Kazakhstan”
Teaching aids: text, cards, picture, tape-recorder, black board.
Aims : To give students information the types of the numbers and their usage of the English grammar, and to enhance students’ viewpoint by providing information about Wildlife of Kazakhstan. Developing students’ cognitive mechanisms ( perception, memory, thinking and its operations) as well as speaking, listening, writing, reading skills.
Educational:
To make students to be able to count numbers.
To enhance pupils’ knowledge in sphere of wildlife.
Practical:
Forming skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Developing:
To develop pupils’ ability in critical thinking and memory.
Objectives:
To encourage students’ confident to share their experiences about the wildlife of Kazakhstan.
To develop speaking skills through doing exercises for answering to the questions.
To develop students’ listening skills through doing exercise in order to practice numbers.
To develop students’ listening skills bye hearing the video.
To develop students’ skills with the help of working in a group by using activities of competition.

Now we are going to learn how to use numbers. What are differences in numbers in English language? Numerals include all numbers, whether as words or as digits. They may be divided into two major types. Cardinal numerals include words like: E.g:, zero, one, two, 3, fifty-six, 100, a thousand. Ordinal numerals include :
E.g first, 2nd, third, fourth, 500th.
Dates and Years: School begins on August 27, 2009. Note: We do not use ordinal numbers (i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd with full dates).

Now you will do some practice relating to numerals.
-Now, I will give you some questions you should answer them. We will speak on wildlife of our country. You must speak about wild animals, their location, inhabitation, condition, etc.
-Now I will show you picture you should make a short story from it. The picture of course about wildlife of our world. You see, there are a lot of various animals. You should describe them and write additional information about them.
