The theme: “What’s this?”

Aims:

а) to enrich pupils’ knowledge about indefinite articles.

b) to evoke their interest in speaking.

с) to develop pupils’ habits and skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, to check their understanding.

Inter – subject connection: Kazakh, Russian.

Methods of the lesson: Question – answer, individual – work, group work.

Types of the lesson: Mixed

Visual aids: Interactive board, pictures, cards.

Now, I’ll give you cards with questions. You’ll answer them and put the cards on the board.

The theme of our lesson is “What’s this?” Open your books at page 49. Write down the date and the theme. There are new words according to our theme. Listen to me attentively and repeat after me altogether.

“a” = бір деген мағынада, жекеше түрде қолданылады.

Дауыссыз дыбыстан басталатын зат есім алдында қолданылады. It’s a cat. – Бұл мысық.

It’s a bag. – Бұл сөмке.

“an” = дауысты дыбыстан басталатын зат есім алдында қолданылады.

It’s an apple. - Бұл алма.

What’s that? – Анау не?

What’s this? – Мынау не?

It’s a table. – Бұл үстел.
