Внеклассное мероприятие «Времена года и погода»

для учащихся 3-4 классов

Цель: совершенствование навыков устной речи, чтения, аудирования, письма по теме

«Времена года и погода».

Задачи:

1. Общеобразовательные:

• побуждать учащихся к активному участию в познании окружающего мира;

• совершенствование навыков аудирования, диалогической и монологической речи; активизация фонетических и грамматических навыков;

• формировать положительную мотивацию учения.

1. Развивающие:

• способствовать интеллектуальному и культурному росту учащихся,

• развивать навыки работы в команде,

• развивать способности к догадке, сообразительность.

1. Воспитательные:

• воспитывать чувство уважения к природе и окружающей среде;

• Воспитывать чувство ответственности.

Ход мероприятия

- Good morning, my dear boys and girls! I am very glad to see you again. How are you? I hope you are fine. Today we shall have a competition on the topics “Seasons and weather”. We are going to speak about spring, summer, autumn and winter and to recite poems. Let’s get started. Let’s divided into two teams and think of the names for the times.

Учащиеся делятся на две команды, каждая команда придумывает название и выбирает капитанов команд. Учитель объясняет учащимся правила соревнования и сообщает, что за каждое правильно выполненное задание команды будут получать определенное количество баллов.

Задание 1

- Let’s play with the English sounds. Первое задание нашего конкурса связано с английскими звуками. Ваша задача – составить как можно больше слов, связанных с погодой и временами года.

Учитель выкладывает на стол команд карточки с английскими звуками. Ученики подбирают необходимые звуки для составления слов по теме «Погода» и «Времена года» - напр., [windi], [kould], [snoui]. За каждое правильно составленное слово команда получает один балл.

Задание 2.

True or False? ( listening)

It is already Sunday. The weather is fine today. We cannot see any clouds in the sky. My mother, sister and I are going to the forest. It’s so wonderful to walk in the forest when it is warm and sunny. I like to have picnics on the grass and sing merry songs about summer.

• I want you to look at the blackboard. You can see 4 pictures on it. I shall describe one picture and you will name its number.

Учитель привлекает внимание учащихся к картинкам на экране. Каждая картинка имеет свой номер. Ученики заслушивают рассказы учителя и называют номер картинки. За каждый правильный ответ команда получает 2 балла.

T: 1. The weather is sunny and hot. You can see some clouds in the sky. It is not windy. It is not rainy. There are some trees in the picture. The leaves on the trees are green. You can see many flowers in the field. They are yellow and white.

2. It is getting colder day by day. The ponds, lakes, rivers and streams are frozen over. We spend more time at home, because it is cold outside. The trees are white when it snows.

3. The weather gets warmer. The fields and meadows are covered with fresh green grass. The sky is blue and cloudless. The sun shines brightly. Nature awakens after a long winter sleep. The birds return from the South.

4. The air is fresh. The forests and parks are very beautiful and colourful. The leaves cover the ground like a thick carpet.

Задание 5.

- Now we shall role-play the dialogues about the weather today. You will work in groups during 5 minutes and then we’ll start.

Члены каждой из команд составляют диалог в течение 5 минут, а затем разыгрывают его. Максимальное количество баллов, которое может получить команда в данном конкурсе, - 5. Учитель оценивает грамматическую правильность предложений, объем диалога и артистичность участников.

Примерный диалог:

- Hello, Alex!

- Hello, Ann! How are you?

- I am fine. And what about you?

- I am not fine. The weather is not good today. It is cold and windy.

- You are right. But the weather is sunny. It is not snowy. I like winter.

- Why are you like winter?

- I like to skate and ski in winter.

- Let’s go skating in the evening today.

- OK. I will wait you today.

Задание 6.

-Now it’s time to listen to my poems and name the seasons.

Учитель зачитывает загадки о различных временах года и предлагает учащимся отгадать их. Балл получает команда, члены которой быстро и правильно отгадали загадку.

- Now our captains will have the special task. They must continue and finish the logical chain.

Капитаны команд получают задание на карточках. Они выполняют его во время проведения задания 7. Максимальное количество баллов – 3.

• Now it’s your turn to recite the poems about nature and seasons. Who is ready to start?

Учащиеся рассказывают заранее разученные стихотворения по темам «Природа» и «Времена года». За каждый представленный номер команда получает 2 балла.

Задание 9.

• You have learnt many poems about the seasons and nature. Now we shall check up if you can write the names of the seasons’ months. You will go to the blackboard one by one. At first we shall remember the names of winter months, then the names of spring, summer and autumn months.

Учащиеся по очереди выходят к доске и записывают название одного месяца. Учитель предлагает записать сначала название зимних месяцев, а затем весенних, летних и осенних месяцев. За каждое правильно записанное слово – 1 балл.

• Thank you for your work. I can see you like nature. Now it’s time to finish our work. It is interesting to know who is the winner today. Team «____» are the best today.
