Урок английского языка «Мой дом»

Цель: Совершенствование навыков устной речи, чтения, письма и аудирования.

Задачи:

а) образовательные:

развитие умений и навыков устной речи у учащихся, а именно - составление рассказов о своем доме или квартире, используя оборот there is/there are;

отработка учащимися диалогов, используя речевой образец Have you got...?

b) развивающие:

развитие умений и навыков в чтении, а именно обучение чтению про себя и пониманию общего содержания и полного содержания прочитанного текста.

введение нового лексического материала: a hall, a kitchen, a pantry, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a toilet, a window, a wall, a door, a flat.

развитие лингвистических способностей учащихся: (внимания, наблюдательности, умения выделять главное, памяти, речи).

развитие познавательного интереса учащихся.

расширение кругозора учащихся.

c) воспитательные:

формирование эстетического вкуса учащихся, положительного отношения к живописи и музыке.

формирование здорового образа жизни, интереса к занятиям на свежем воздухе.

Ход урока

I. Начало урока:

1. Приветствие учащихся.

- Good morning, dear children ! Glad to see you.

- Good morning, dear teacher! We are glad to see you too!

- I see that you are ready for our English lesson and now let's start it!

- OK, we are ready!

2. Цель урока:

-Today we are going to speak about your flats and houses. We'll practice our skills in speaking and reading, listening and writing. I wish you to be calm and to work well.

II. Речевая зарядка:

Children, I want you to answer some questions:

- What date is it today?

-What day of the week is it today?

- What was your homework for today?

III. Фонетическая зарядка:

Let's sing the song about my home:

When I Think Of Home

When I think of 'home' I think of cherry pies
When I think of 'home' I think of mulberry trees
When I think of 'home' I think of butterflies
When I think of 'home' I think of bumble bees.

IV. Предъявление и первичное закрепление нового материала:

1. Look at the blackboard, listen to me and remember:

- bed + room = bedroom

- bath + room = bathroom

- living + room = living room

2. Use new words in combinations and sentences

(For example: I've got a flat. There is a bathroom in it.

I've got a flat. There are two bedrooms in it.

I've got a flat. There is a kitchen and two bedrooms in it.

3. And now fill in some missing words in these sentences:

a) There : bedrooms in the house.

b) There : doors in the hall.

c) There : no windows in the hall.

d) There : a kitchen in the house.

e) There : a living room in the house.

f) There : a pantry in the house.

g) There : a lot of windows in the house.

V. Обучение чтению:

1. Repeat after me: large, sometimes, interesting, go shopping.

2. Read the text and answer the questions:

a) How many rooms are there in granny's house? What are they?

b) What does Simon do to help his granny?

c) Why is Simon is sad?

d) What does he want to do?

e) What do you do to help your mum and granny?
