Тема: Новый Год. Говорение

Цель урока: Формирование коммуникативной компетенции в рамках коммуникативной ситуации урока.

Прогнозируемый результат: предполагается, что к окончанию урока учащиеся смогут сообщить информацию и описать явления в объеме не менее 6 реплик.

Задачи:

- содействовать активизации лексических навыков, навыков устной речи;

- содействовать повышению мотивации на уроках через средства обучения. - - способствовать развитию речемыслительной и эмоциональной сфер личности учащихся, выявлять и развивать творческие способности учащихся, способствовать повышению мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Дидактическое оборудование: учебник «English 6. Student’s book», Н.В. Юхнель, рабочая тетрадь на печатной основе «Workbook-1» 6, Е.Г.Наумова, наглядный материал, аудиозапись песен.

Ход урока

I. Организационно-мотивационный этап.

Цель этапа: ввести учащихся в иноязычную атмосферу, снять психоэмоциональное напряжение.

(Задача этапа: настроить учащихся на активную работу на уроке)

- good afternoon. I’m glad to see you. Christmas is coming soon. Christmas is the season of goodwill. It is the most marvelous time of love and joy.

Today we have a quiz lesson. We’ll find out who knows better about traditions and customs of this holiday at the end of our quiz lesson.

II. Организационно-деятельностный этап.

Цель этапа: создать условия для формирования коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.

Задача этапа: совершенствовать лексические и грамматические навыки учащихся при выполнений заданий.

1. The first task is “Christmas words”. Each team should find some words and write down them. One snowflake is one right answer. (приложение1)

2. Now it’s time for riddles. The following task is called “Riddles”

1. A little old woman with 12 children – some short, some long, some hot, some cold. What is it? (a year)

2. What is the end of Christmas? (The letter S)

3. In what month do children talk least? (February)

4. Traditional Christmas dish. (pudding)

5. What is white and made out of snow? (A snowman)

6. What is the difference between here and there? (The letter T)

7. I’m black and red and blue. I draw everything for you. (a pencil)

8. It has no legs, but just for fun, it’s always on the run. (a ball)

9. This is a house with one window in it, showing films nearly every minute. (a tv-set)

10. It’s the day of the week pupils don’t go to school. (Sunday)

11. We decorate it with toys, glass balls, sweets, bells. (Christmas tree)

12. This is the season when mornings are dark and cold. Birds don’t sing in the woods and in the park. (winter)

1. It’s high time for a musical task. The task is called “Jingle Bells” there are lines of the children’s song “Jingle Bells”. These lines are mixed. Your task is to make up the song by listening to the tape. (приложение 2)

1. Thanks for wonderful time. It’s high time to check your knowledge of Christmas customs. The task is called “Christmas Questions”. You should answer the questions.

1. When do English people celebrate Christmas? (on the 25^th of December)

2. When do we celebrate Christmas? (on the 7^th of January)

3. What’s the 24^th of December? (Christmas Eve)

4. What is the 26^th of December? (boxing day)

5. What is Boxing day? What do people do on this day? (It’s a day pf presenting a Christmas box or gifts)

6. What is the traditional dish of Christmas? (a goose/a turkey)

7. What is the best thing about Christmas for you? (presents/ gifts)

8. What is a carol? (carol is a Christmas sing)

9. How do you decorate a Christmas tree?

1. As you know, any Christmas can’t be without greetings. Your home task was to prepare the snowflake with wishes for everyone of your classmates. But firstly I want that you do the puzzle and read my wishes for you. I’ll give you the cards which are cut. (приложение 3)

III. Оценочно-рефлексивный этап.

Цель: осуществление контроля полученного результата урока.

1. So, let’s tell about customs and traditions about Christmas.

• Christmas Eve is on the 24^th of December. Christmas Day is on the 25^th of December. Boxing Day is on the 26^th of December. People visit their relatives and Friends and give them presents.

• I helped my parents to decorate the house with candles and lights. I decorate Christmas tree with ornaments, tinsel and lights on the tree. We pulled crackers and read funny jokes.

• New Year’s Eve is on the 31^st of December and New Year’s day is on the first of January. In the evening we had a fantastic Christmas dinner with traditional roast goose or turkey, potatoes and carrots, and different salad.

1. It’s high time to decorate our Christmas tree. It’s without decoration. Let’s decorate our tree with your snowflakes with your wishes. You read and put it on the tree.

2. Our Christmas quiz lesson is almost over.
