-Children, what  this poem is about? Well done!

Read and translate one sentence in chain.

Do you Like this poem?

Now answer my question. What day of the week was yesterday? (It was Thursday yesterday.)

Who will name all days of the week in Kazakh?

What date is it today? Open your exercise-books, write down the date. (Friday. The 4th of October.)

 

4. Revision

-Look at the blackboard and read the sentence.

They were in Astana last Monday.

Translate this sentence. What Tense is used? В каком времени стоит это предложение? (P.S.)Какие вспомогательные глаголы употребляются в этом времени? Когда мы используем глагол was, а когда were? Задайте вопрос к этому предложению.

  • Were they in Astana last Monday? - Yes, they were/No, they were not.
  • Who were in Astana? - They were in Astana.
  • Where were they? - They were in Astana.
  • When were they in Astana? - They were in Astana last Monday.

-Look at the blackboard. На доске вы видите картинки. Рассмотрите их. В правильной ли последовательности они стоят? Пронумеруйте картинки по порядку и дополните предложения. Будьте внимательны, потому что здесь будут встречаться и глаголы was/were, и новые слова.
